This is the very first apartment we had decorated, and we were inspired by Barcelona itself, with its cosmopolitan and modern flair, yet at the same time being a place with a rich culture. With grey as the predominant color tone, we achieved a contemporary, stylish and elegant atmosphere. And be assured that you would not find a more centrally located flat! Don't miss out on staying at one of only six unique 'El Alma de Las Ramblas' flats, all of which are located in a recently renovated historical 19th century building We are three friends who decided to embark on this project to refurbished 6 apartments in a same building located right off of arguably Barcelona´s most emblematic street: Las Ramblas. It was important to us to turn these apartments into cozy and functional living spaces for our guests. We chose the new beds, beddings, sofas, dining tables and chairs, lamps, kitchenware and small appliances with great care and consideration (hair dryer, nespresso, kettle... internet TV and of course, wi-fi). We believe we were successful in creating an pleasant space in each of the flats- and we hope you will also agree after having spent time there. Guests have access to the entire studio. We respect the privacy of our guests and yet also would be available to provide any assistance possible that would make our guests´ stay a confortable and an enjoyable one. This apartment is located at the epic center of Barcelona, just at the beginning of this iconic street known for its myriad of activities and abundant pedestrians who have come to stroll, shop and dine in the city´s most dynamic street. Enjoy meals in a modern nook surrounded by large windows in this bright studio. When these windows are opened, the nook feels as if you were in an open balcony. The compact layout makes intuitive use of space featuring a fully stacked kitchenette. This apartment is as central as central can be! You will be able to walk* to many worthwhile sites: 1. La Boquería Market: 4 minute walk 2. Picasso Museum: 13 minute walk 3. La Pedrera: 22 minute walk 4. La Sagrada Familia: 42 minute walk 5. La Barceloneta (former fishermen´s neighborhood by BCN´s port): 25 minute walk 6. The beach: 30 minute walk 7. Relaxed, Spacious Loft with Jetted Tub

A typically newyorkan style semi-loft space, the property is located in one of the very best areas in Barcelona - at walking distance from the city centre, the city’s main avenue Paseo de Gracia and Gaudi’s famous buildings. Enchanting and welcoming, the loft is divided in two main areas - a wide sitting/dining room with integrated kitchen on one hand and open space bedroom and bathroom on the other. By the way, you don't want to forget to take a nice relaxing long bath! You know why? The bathroom will surprise you with a fabulous Jacuzzi! Thick brick walls, high ceilings with fully restored rustic Catalan wooden elements add onto the property that special note of history and character that makes it unique. The deco is vintage while it benefits of great interior natural light thanks to the exterior balconies on two sides - overlooking Aribau Street. The furniture varies from vintage items to unique pieces I found in antiques markets and I then personally restored, to a few modern units - all in all giving the place a personal charm! The flat sleeps up to 4 people thanks to its very comfortable sofa bed. Nevertheless, don't forget that the space is limited and a good degree of friendship is required to share a reduced space! The flat is fully equipped and you will need to bring but your suitcase to come and enjoy your stay in Barcelona! It has all been sorted for you: bathroom towels, bedding, air/con, central heating, kettle, toaster, washing machine, dryer, etc, are included! On top of that you will find available some of the basic kitchen ingredients like milk, bread, sugar, salt, olive oil...and....surprise!...a bottle of local wine ...to get you nicely relaxed on your holiday! I am a mum of two - so should you need any baby equipment - no need to travel it over - I could help with that! Before arrival I will send you an email with my best recommendations on the local cultural and gastronomical offer. I will be happy to help you through any doubts or questions you may have about your stay - so to make sure that you truly and utterly can concentrate on just enjoying your visit! A last important note! Aribau Street is well known for its restaurants, bars and liveliness! At times it can be noisy. But no worries! The flat is fully sound proof! It is a neighborhood with a lot of life, bars, restaurants, cafes and shops.

Jaume and Marta’s Girona studio is located conveniently within walking distance to many tourist attractions, including the cathedral, Jewish quarter, river houses, etc. It felt larger than the listing pictures because the space is used well. The view from the studio is awesome and with the windows closed, we felt it was extremely quiet even with many tourists and restaurants outside. The hosts have a blog with lots of recommendations and very helpful tips on parking as well. We were very glad to be able to stay in such a great spot during our stay in Girona.

We loved our 5 day stay in this apartment. Very accessible by metro, in an area with a wonderful neighborhood feel and excellent restaurants. Avoid the spots on the Carrer de Blai- there are many gems up and down the residential streets (Silvia has some great reccomendations!). The short walk to Salts is worth it for a sunset view over Barcelona.

Great place to stay for a trip to Barcelona. Really central location and a lot of places are walkable in 30 mins and it's also near two metro stations. The flat is big and spacious and the bedroom is peaceful at night. Light does get in by the glass bathroom door but wasn't an issue for us. There is also a small Juliette balcony which you can stand on but not really sit outside. I would highly recommend this flat for a couple or friends weekend in Barcelona.

Wow! What a apartment. Right in the heart of the old town, but high up (with lift access) so quiet, with a great view over a street with restaurants, and up the hill to the city walls. Lovely airy stylish space, with a well equipped kitchen and even some dangerously enticing sweet jars. We fell in love with Girona and its people, and hope to return to this apartment before too long.

I had an absolutely perfect stay at Toni's place in Girona. The apartment is modern, sparkling clean and equipped with everything you could wish for – from clothes rack and iron to all cooking utensils. Toni is an exceptional host. He always responded within a few minutes and gave great tips at check-in – thanks to him I had the best tapas of my life! You can tell that he really cares about the well-being of his guests. This might be my favourite Airbnb stay so far. The property is chic, well maintained, and has tasteful decor. The architecture and layout make it feel extra special. It has all the crockery and amenities you’ll need, including a very new washing machine with detergent. Mariam, the host, was very communicative and responsive. We will definitely return.

We had such a lovely stay at this AirB&B. it was easily accessible, big enough and at an amazing spot in Barcelona! Frank was so helpful with the AirB&B as well as tips for the neighbourhood. really friendly and quick to response! The AirB&B was shared but it didn't feel like we didn't have privacy! it had a super cute shower on the balcony which could cool you off on a hot summer day. we couldn't have wished for a better location or space for our vacation! really recommend, also if you're travelling for work or if you're a student!!
