Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Corton

Dunwich is a beautiful seaside village with an interesting history. Beach was good (by North Sea standards but be sure to either have feet like old boots or preferably a pair of swimming shoes. The house is perfect for a family get as ours was with grandparents, maiden aunts, youngish couple and a toddler. Everything you could need and more.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Little Tern and we loved it just as much as the first time. Little Tern is a lovely property and perfect for us as just a ten minute walk to the beach. It is a homely property and has everything you need. It’s lovely and clean and plenty of space. Great bathrooms and great bedrooms. We can’t wait to come back again and stay.

We had the most lovely family holiday here. With a 3 and 1 year old this property had everything we needed to make us feel all feel right at home. A cot, high chair, bib, black out binds, you name it. The river and decking at the bottom of the garden was just so peaceful, our go to spot. We watched nesting swans and ducks, we all loved it. Thank you Hannah for having us. You have a beautiful Airbnb!!

Tommy was a fab host. Communication was great and really fast - especially when I couldn’t figure out the oven and dinner was at risk lol. He was really thoughtful organising a cushion to be posted to us for the high chair. Definitely a host to recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Horizon house. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. So close to the beach and amenities! Great having space for 2 cars off street parking too, made unloading/ loading much easier.

This is the second time I have stayed at Amanda's home. Set over three floors, it is an excellent place to live comfortably. This is the first time i have taken a pet, and she was very well behaved. Because the house is in a lovely neighbourhood we acknowledge sound curfews, and we were very careful not to disturb any of the neighbours. Cars are easily parked and generally safe. A perfect place to stay, where we enjoy walks and the local maritime features. The Gorleston-on-Sea beach has to be the best ever. I always like to leave a place as i found it, and I don't think our host will be in anyway disappointed that we left it beautifully clean. Thank you to our lovely host, and we hope to visit again.

Great place to stay and an excellent location for visiting this side of Norfolk. Very quiet and peaceful, nice barn conversion with pleanty of room on three floors. Spacious off-street parking and we had use of a large pretty garden. The property was very clean, and had a modern fitted kitchen with excellent appliances. The house, in general, is very well equipped and very comfortable. Small but adequate shower room plus a handy ground floor cloakroom. The host lived next door and was available if needed. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

We had a great week in this bright and cosy holiday Chalet. The advertising photos in my opinion show it for exactly what it is. The accommodation had everything we needed from a well stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. We had some lovely warm sunny weather whilst we were there for the week so it was in a great location for coastal runs/walks and nice beaches not far. The White Horse Inn was also an added bonus just a stones throw away, with descent pub grub. We also used the Chinese takeaway next to the pub which was very satisfying. We are a family of four with a 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter and we would all recommend this chalet and location if you enjoy a peaceful environment with lots to do without having to travel too far. We had such a lovely time. Location was peaceful and the accommodation was perfectly placed for planned activities and so close to the beach. Inside was clean and lovely and warm and Hannah was fantastic at answering any questions very quickly and also making sure we were settled in. Thank you.

We booked a few nights away, very well kept and clean chalet. Hosts were very attentive to any messages or questions we had. Made our weekend very enjoyable and we will be booking again

Absolutely stunning, booked the caravan for my 20th birthday, weekend away with friends. Richard and Allison were absolutely brilliant and very helpful gave us lots of recommendations from days before checking in so it was very easy for us to properly plan this trip. Very clean and this is the first caravan i see with so many activities, so well arranged so many utensils, so much room around and beautiful space to relax outside. Only thing that was a bit annoying but it’s absolutely noones fault is that if you leave bin bags outside there are seagulls that will come straight away and make a mess. we had to clean it up 2 days in a row so just to keep in mind either leave it on or take it straight to the big bins. There’s nothing to point out about the caravan or hosts everything was better than expected! Thank you Richard and Allison!😍

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s place near Oulton Broad for 3 nights with the kids and the dog. Lovely little attention to detail with dog treats and dog bowls left out, also some treats for the humans. Thanks!

Our stay was peaceful in tranquil surroundings. The cottage was well equipped with quality furnishings and beds very comfortable. One of our party was in the process of recovering from illness, and after a few days began to feel so much better and by the end of the stay had the best sleep since his diagnosis. Beautiful garden, patio and area. The White horse inn nearby was great for a pint and food if you didn’t want to cook. Central to many attractions in Norfolk.

We had an amazing stay! The house is beautiful, spacious and really comfortable beds. We love Gorleston and the house is just a 1 minute walk from the beach. There is lots to do, lovely walks and nice restaurants. Joanna was quick to respond and we would definitely recommend. We are even talking about coming back to the same house next year. Couldn’t have asked for a better holiday with our 2 children and 2 dogs.

Absolutely gorgeous Airbnb, had everything we needed for a weekend away. The decor is beautiful and there are lovely surroundings for a walk. Fiona and her team were so lovely and responsive, gave clear directions and check in details which made it such a smooth experience. We will definitely be back!

Are you a couple with a lovely furry friend? So ,this is the best place you could go for. Clean, peaceful, spacious, lots of ground around for walk. Excellent! I will be back , for sure!

Ella's place was perfect for us. It had everything we needed for the weekend and our daughter was also able to bring the dog! It was spotlessy clean and Ella's communication was prompt and helpful.
