Places to stay in Corrales

This was just what we were looking for! Clean and comfortably, coffee, fruit, great local map with good ideas and wonderful outdoor spaces even in lighting and thunder. We'll be back!

The Placitas casita is a lovely place with wonderful hosts who are friendly, quick to respond and easy to work with. I immediately felt right at home in the casita, which is cozy and quiet with a creative interior design. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of cookware; the internet is fast; and it feels quite private. I enjoyed both sitting on the porch and relaxing on the backyard patio—all with beautiful views. The backyard grill is a nice bonus too. Just five minutes away you can find lots of trails for hiking, running and biking at the foot of the Sandia Mountains as well as a small commercial center with both a casual cafe and fine dining, a small grocery store and a new coffee shop. Not too much further away is Bernalillo (with a Sprouts); and Albuquerque is an easy 30 minute drive. So the casita’s location offers a nice mix of rural/nature with all your big city needs nearby. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to have the chance to do so again.

My daughter, Kenzie, and her husband stayed at the Love Shack while visiting from England. I booked it for them so they could have some alone time while I took care of my grandson. They absolutely enjoyed their stay. The Love Shack was perfectly located to all the shops and restaurants my daughter wanted to visit while here, but it was also tucked away into a very private and tranquil setting. Almost like it was rural, but only being 10 minutes away from the busy city life. They enjoyed meeting the Moore’s and really enjoyed all the welcoming touches within the Love Shack. I will definitely book this for them again on their next visit. We highly recommend!!

We stayed here for a long weekend in May. The drive in was gorgeous. The house is not too far off of a dirt road (a little bumpy). The hosts house was right next to us but still feels very private and quiet/peaceful. The home was cozy & had everything you need and I appreciate all the thoughtful items for women. Also the bed was sooo comfy. The hot-tub was always on and ready to go, we enjoyed looking up at all the stars while soaking in the evenings. All around 10/10 lovely home, lovely hosts. Would highly recommend!

Ralph and Jude have a beautiful home and the casita is amazing! The casita had a private gated entrance and parking area. Inside, the living space and kitchen were exactly what we needed with space to watch TV and relax. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and refrigerator was ready for our needed items. Even a washer/dryer unit was available in the casita for our use. The bathroom had plenty of space and totally ready with towels and other items. The bedroom had a walk-in closet and was perfect to unpack all of our clothes and essentials. The surrounding grounds were gorgeous and Ralph and Jude even shared their fire pit with us. We have stayed there twice and it will be the only place we stay while visiting family in New Mexico. Perfect for the two of us and close to everything we need to be near. We will be anxious to see them both again hopefully in the near future!

Loved my stay at the Casitas De Corrales! The place was clean, peaceful, and easy to find. Would definitely stay here again!

What a gorgeous spot, I was in town for work and it was the perfect place to relax after a long day. The location is so beautiful and quiet, the casita is cozy and full of NM history and western culture, kitchen was well stocked with what I needed, and the bed was very comfy. Also getting to pet beautiful horses at the end of the day was a highlight! Great place, would recommend.

This stay was an unexpected highlight of my trip. The home is in a safe, quiet neighborhood and was very easy to find. William was proactive, responsive, and made everything smooth from start to finish. The space itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully put together, with a lovely courtyard that added a peaceful touch. I especially appreciated the washer and dryer—such a lifesaver at that point in my journey. Everything I needed was close by, from gas stations to restaurants, which made the location incredibly convenient. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. It’s the kind of place I’d choose again on purpose. I ended up here after a long, exhausting day of unexpected car trouble and hours of driving to the only dealership that could help—but staying here turned that stressful detour into one of the most comforting parts of my trip.
