Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Corinthia

Stunningly beautiful surroundings, tranquil and instantly relaxing. The house is very beautifully decorated, built to a high standard, impeccably clean and super charming! Dominic and Eirini are wonderful hosts. We booked our next stay already. For our fellow travelers: if you drive from Athens to Tyros there is halfway a small family run taverna in Nemea, called Danaos & Anastasis, which has very tasty food and most days has a BBQ with spit roast (especially delicious).

Linos was the perfect host, welcomed us into his beautiful home with open arms. Very helpful details on the surroundings, and very communicative at all times. We would book again without hesitation.

Το σπιτι της Νικολεττας πανεμορφο αισθητικα, πολυ ζεστο και με ολες τις ανεσεις και με το παραπανω. Η Νικολεττα πολυ επικοινωνιακη, μας κατατοπισε σε ο,τι τη ρωτησαμε. Και η τοποθεσια απλα εκπληκτικη, ηρεμια και ησυχια.

This was easily the best Airbnb of our holiday! The photos from the balcony window which are on the property listing do not do this place justice. It was so nice to enjoy the view while we ate breakfast outside on the balcony. It was also much larger in person than what I had imagined. I really appreciated that the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to make our own meals. We had a hire car with us, there is public parking at the steps to the property and we were able to get a park there immediately with no issues. The property is also so close to the archaeological site as well as other walking tracks, it was the perfect location for us. We only stayed one night but it would have been better to stay 2. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!!

Sophia is a super friendly host whose home reflects her thoughtfulness and creativity. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived (in fact, when we were wondering if we had the right house, a kind neighbour came over to assure us we were in the right place) and she had kindly left breakfast items and fresh oranges and her own delicious honey. The house has two huge terrace balconies that both have far reaching, beautiful views, and it's so close to Ancient Mycenae l. I would recommend a two night stay here so you can get up to the site early in the morning while it's cooler, then come back for lunch and a rest, and go back up to catch sunset at the Lion Gate. Parking is right outside and the area seemed very safe. We met the sweetest elderly cat too, who liked to hang out with us on the terrace. We were there during a bit of a heatwave and the air conditioning in the bedroom and front room was invaluable. In short, an authentic greek village and old-school Airbnb stay.

Was soll ich sagen? Der Kontakt zu Ileana war von Anfang an wohlwollend und super herzlich. Ich habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt mit ihr. Sie hat im Vorfeld schon Reisempfehlungen geschickt und ständig gefragt, ob sie irgendwie behilflich sein kann. Ich habe alles wie beschrieben vorgefunden im Haus. Und es war wirklich alles nach meinem Geschmack. So ähnlich würde ich auch leben. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt dort. Durch die doch stärker als gedacht befahrene Straße war es manchmal ein wenig lauter durch den Verkehr. Das habe ich aber nicht als extrem störend wahrgenommen, aber es ist mir aufgefallen, wahrscheinlich weil ich in der totalen Ruhe lebe. Ileana, ich würde wiederkommen. Danke für dieses bezaubernde Haus und Dich...

Our family of fourwith 2 small kids had a very comfortable stay at Sofia's place - exactly as described, it was very spacious, clean and well equipped. A large supermarket is across the street, as well as being next to the beach. Spacious parking space. We enjoyed our breakfast and some dinners on the nice terrace. Sofia was always very responsive and also helped organize the canal cruise for us. Corinth city itself was a bit limited but was a great base to explore the historic area.

We had a wonderful vacation with Artemis and Stefanos. The house was great, very clean and everything you could wish for was on site. The pool was amazing, the garden was very well maintained and the panoramic view was magnificent... it was a paradisiacal place. You can make wonderful excursions from here (e.g. Poros, Idra, Spetses, Korinth, the volcano on Methana, Nafplios, the theater of Epidauros, mountain villages like Stemnitsa and Demitsani and much more) but there are also wonderful beaches and restaurants on site. The best is saved for last: Artemis and Stefanos were the best hosts you can imagine. They provided us with lots of ideas for excursions, they were always attentive and fulfilled requests immediately but were never supervising or checking up on us. They were like invisible fairies. We got freshly squeezed orange juice every morning, great homemade jams (some of which we were allowed to take home with us) you felt like you were on vacation with your grandparents.

Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Athens. It was within walking distance of most attractions but also close to the underground too! The apartment was beautiful, clean and exactly as the photos shown. We had a lovely stay here and would 100% stay again!

Location, location, location. 1/2 block from the main square. It’s very busy but you can walk to everything. View from balcony of the Acropolis is from the side but it’s still great. We walked in different directions every day. Many, many restaurants, taverns everywhere. Check out the rooftop restaurant right on the corner. You enter the elevators right near the subway. Worth the stop. If you’re up to it, walk a number of blocks away from the main tourist areas or grab the subway (right next door)to find restaurants with better bang for the buck. We took the subway out when we left, super easy to do even with luggage and straight to the airport. The host was very helpful and very responsive.

Eleni’s place was wonderful, her mother met us at check in and was incredibly friendly and kind. There was fresh bread and groceries waiting for us. The house was beautiful and very well located. I would gladly stay here again!

Η διαμονή μας στο κατάλυμα της κυρίας Μαρίας ήταν εξαιρετική! Μας υποδέχτηκε με το αυτοκίνητο ώστε να μην χρειαστεί να κουβαλήσουμε τις αποσκευές μας και κατά την αναχώρηση μας μας μετέφερε παλι στο σημείο που είχαμε παρκαρει. Απαντουσε αμέσως στα μηνυματα μας και μας έδωσε λεπτομερεις χρήσιμες πληροφοριες για την περιοχη καθώς και για τα μαγαζιά που θα μπορουσαμε να επισκεφθούμε. Επίσης σαν καλωσόρισμα μας είχε χειροποίητα λικέρ να δοκιμάσουμε ! Το κατάλυμα ήταν πεντακαθαρο, ακριβώς όπως στις φωτογραφίες, με όλα τα απαραίτητα που θα μπορουσαμε να χρειστουμε. Η θέα του εκπληκτική και η τοποθεσία πολυ καλη, μόλις 3-5 λεπτά με τα ποδια από τον κεντρικό δρόμο της Αράχωβας και από όλα τα μαγαζια. Εννοείται ότι θα συνιστούσα το κατάλυμα αυτό και θα το επέλεγα ξανά αν επισκεπτόμουν την Αράχωβα!

Aggeliki by far is the best host out of all the people I have rented from on Airbnb. She is very friendly, very helpful, always keen to help. Place was amazing and she is very responsive. She also like to recommend restaurants, places to visit, etc… I was also travelling to Naxos and she was already proactive with providing me with her favourite restaurants and beaches there. Her place is also very cosy, has a great atmosphere I believe that’s because it is their own house in which the rent every now and then. In short, great host that gives me even extra motivation to come to Athens!

Home was clean, host would respond very fast to any questions. Area is walkable to restaurants. Very private and comfortable.

What an amazing apartment. Fantastic location with stunning views, yet very private - no one else was in the complex while we were there. Lots of facilities; the big barbecue and pool were our absolute favourite. 😉 Panos was a great host - very quick to respond and shares tips for places to see and restaurants. Just make sure to bring enough mosquito repellent, if you don’t want to end up as insect dinner.

This is a beautiful, historic apartment. It is quite spacious, bright, and nicely decorated in classic style. The outdoor area is lovely with outdoor chairs and a large unbrella. The location is quiet, though only steps away from restaurants and shops. The beds and linens are very good. Dia, the caretaker, met us and was very friendly and helpful. There are many steps to get up to the apartment, but you can drive up to drop off your luggage before parking at the free port area parking I would happily stay here again if I ever return to Nafplio!

Sehr geräumige Wohnräume und Außenbereiche, mit wunderschönen Blick auf Meer, See und Berge! Bis auf das Ausfallen des Whirlpools am ersten Abend war alles perfekt! Dafür hatten wir aber auch Verständnis, manche Dinge lassen sich eben nicht innerhalb einiger Tage beheben. Tipp für die nächsten Gäste: Bleibt eisern und füttert die Katzen nicht! Es werden von Tag zu Tag mehr und sie werden immer penetranter!

Our stay at House of Hydra could not have been more perfect. Giota was an amazing host, very hands on & communicative with any questions we had. I would 100% book again if returning to Hydra! & could not recommend more highly!

Our holiday in this house was beyond our expectations. Finding the place clean and all essentials inside, the stay was truly comfortable and easy. The owner of the house was very responsive to all our questions, and kind. Location of the house is also perfect; just a 2-minute walk to the beach, and very convenient to restaurants in which you can find great Greek cousine. I highly recommend this property for anyone who seeks a calm holiday in a well-cared-for home in such a convenient setting as well as a a beautiful beach and the sea. Hope to visit there again !

I don't even know where to start because our stay was so magical. Mariangela and Michael were two of the most incredible hosts I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Their local recommendations guided our entire stay, and learning all about the local history was fascinating and such an added bonus. We changed our reservations to stay another two nights because we loved it so much and felt so at peace and at home. Waking up to birds singing and having such a beautiful place to relax and swim was the highlight of our 15 days in Greece. I cannot recommend this home and the hosts enough--we were treated like family and welcomed with open arms. My mother and I were traveling together and are both Greek, and it meant the world to learn Greek phrases and local tips on our first visit to our home country. We will definitely be back and there is no question we will stay here again. Thank you for everything, we are so grateful!

Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour chez Nikolaos. Sa maison est un cocon décoré avec bon goût, tandis que la terrasse est sublime, avec une vue à couper le souffle. Difficile de faire mieux ! Et si vous aimez les chats, vous serez comblés ...

We enjoyed our stay, place is offering amazing scenery and opportunities. It is a huge house with amazing interior and garden. We will surely want to come back again.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit traumhaftem Ausblick auf Meer und Inseln. Ideal für einen entspannten Urlaub am Meer. Wir haben vor allem die Ruhe genossen, es gibt keine direkten Nachbarn. Schöne und einsame Strände sind in Kürze mit dem Auto erreichbar. Das Haus und die Ausstattung lassen keine Wünsche übrig, einfach perfekt. Andreas ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Vermieter der uns einige gute Tipps gegeben hat. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

This place is amazing! I felt like I was living on a movie set. The house and the views were absolutely breath taking. Even though the house is a bit further from major cities— it’s worth it! Judy was so easy to communicate with and very friendly. Highly recommend!
