The RR winds through tunnels and trestles along the south border of the park and was originally the only way to visit Glacier. Light sleeper could have problem with the train noise. This is a newly constructed cabin done to luxury standards and is located on our farm down a private road, situated at the northern end of Flathead Lake. The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley.

This cozy home is our “Smokey the Bear” cabin. There is a driveway that can fit 2 cars next to the home. “Smokey” is just a 7-minute drive to the main entrance to Glacier Park. The home sleeps 6 adults and 2 kids comfortably. (8 allowed if at least 2 of the guests are young kids.) The home has a covered deck, full-home AC and heating, gas fireplace, back yard with fire pit, desk/work area, and pull-out sofa if needed. We will give an additional discount for booking for 2 months or more.

7 miles from the West entrance of Glacier National Park, this is perfect for couples that plan to be spending most of their time in Glacier. 12x14 wall tent with a wood burning stove for chilly nights! 1.5 acres. Private Entrance, all fenced. There is a solar panel to plug in essentials, and a camp stove and fire ring for cooking. We provide a cooler and a water. There is an outhouse with a propane heated shower. Not for light sleepers! The train comes by a couple of times a night.

This is a beautiful and convenient place to relax when visiting the last best place. There is a romantic woodstove inside and a hottub outside! There are two brand new A-Frames next door that share some outdoor spaces and a cabin as well. You can book all 4 for large family events or just the house for privacy.
