Hardwood floors, fenced-in back yard with deck and grill, small full kitchen. Dining table seats 6. Nice SmartTV with Netflix and access to internet apps and Samsung FreeTv. No smoking, please. Little House on the Lake sits along one of Iowa’s most active bald eagle corridors, with frequent sightings right from the windows and deck. Our shoreline’s tall trees and the open water near Mehaffey Bridge attract both resident and migrating eagles all winter. Adults show their classic white heads, while juveniles appear larger and brown as they develop. Winter months bring especially high activity as northern lakes freeze and the birds gather here to fish.
