Poddington Cottage, nr Salisbury

A secluded self contained annex in the countryside to relax with your 4 legged friends. Local to the popular wedding venues of Bowerchalke Barns and West Barn Lodge. Also only 1 mile from the annual Chalke History Festival site. There are lots of circular walks directly from the cottage, also within an hours drive you could be on the beach or in the New Forest. For a quiet evening in, there are board games, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, and a Smart TV. A village pub is 10 minutes walk all away.

The Summer House

The Summer House is a recently converted guest house, self contained with fully equipped kitchen , beautifully fitted bathroom ,double bed on the galleried mezzanine level ,accessed by ladder stairs with vaulted ceiling creating a loft style. It is fully heated ,has wi-fi , streamed TV, and ceiling speakers for streaming music. The space is modern,bright ,yet cosy. Outdoors it sits at the top of 14 acres of grounds over looking the main house. There is a private entrance and parking on site.

An ideal base to explore the local areas including many walks, pubs , restaurants, golf clubs and other tourist attractions such as Stonehenge and Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World . Down a little no through lane this self contained annexe to our house is on the Monarch's Way in a quiet, rural position just 3 miles from the cathedral city of Salisbury. The River Bourne runs close by. The ground floor annexe has a modern but peaceful bedroom with en-suite shower, separate kitchen/living area with double doors on to the patio & a sitting room with sofa bed. Parking for one or two cars. Convenient for anyone working at Porton Down & is 10 minutes from Salisbury by car.

Our gorgeous converted Tiny House offers you a cosy and comfortable getaway in one of the most scenic and historic corners of rural Wiltshire, just a couple of miles outside Salisbury. The house is situated within a private walled garden and the view looks across water meadows bordering the River Avon, towards the city's cathedral. The Tiny House is compact but perfectly designed to be cosy, (under floor heating and a log burner) comfortable and have everything you need for your stay.
