Monthly Rentals in Cooks Beach

Mary was a wonderful host - greeted us with flowers and firewood when we arrived and invited our kids to come pick pears and strawberries with her (which were delicious) but also respected our space and privacy. There was a box of toys when we arrived and the fold-out sofa was all set up for the little ones. The house has a kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals and really nice-smelling soaps. The property overlooks the ocean and you can whale watch ten feet from the cabin's front door. (There are also redwoods and we saw two deer on the property, along with chickens and an extremely chill cat.) If you haven't been to the Mendocino coast you're in for a real treat - just mile after mile of gorgeous hikes and beaches, with cute towns in either direction. Highly recommended.

What a gift and complete joy to stay here! The directions were perfect and we easily entered on the gravel road, even with our very low, little Prius. On arrival, we were delighted to find the beautiful, simple and lovely cob house set in such a lovely setting. The view from bed was just incredible and my husband particularly fell in love with the stump shower with ferns growing where you stand. We were able to cook easily in the kitchen by just bringing a backpacking set of pots/pans, but she had cups, silverware, and yummy teas. But, by far, the best part was Katy who was kind and open. We enjoyed getting to know her and loved walking through the gorgeous garden she has built over the years. We left well-rested, energized and inspired!

This is the nicest AirBnb I've stayed at and I've stayed at hundreds. So beautiful, incredible amenities. Just stunning. I wish I lived here. Skye was so communicative and helpful. Will come back.

We recommend this airbnb! I have been traveling pretty regularly for the past 12 years for my job... hotel after hotel. This time I decided to book my own lodging as my husband and baby were tagging along...and this airbnb could have been any more of a perfect match for what I was looking for! The views are beautiful as is the airbnb itself. Tons of windows and skylights create beautiful natural light. The interior has a beautiful wooden cabin feel. The choice of decor is nautical, very interesting provides the warmth of being at a familar home. There is Cooks Beach just a 3 minute drive (great coffee shop in that area) and the center of town is also a 3 minutes drive the opposite direction. Mike has included a variety of board games to be used. Internet was strong and we both had phone service the entire time (AT&T and Verizon). This property was so perfect that my husband and I began to discuss buying something similar down the road. 5 out of 5 stars! Thanks Mike!
