House vacation rentals in Cook County

Had a short stay over spring break and this stay was exactly what we needed. Great location to drop right into the trails and Shayla was fantastic with all her communications. Can't wait to plan another trip!

We enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed the welcome pack of treats and the nice note welcoming us on our arrival. Adding a clothes dryer would be a nice extra touch for the future.

Peter’s place was perfect for our group of 13. Very clean with plenty of space. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. His house manual gave us everything we needed to know and great recommendations for things to do in the area. Would love to stay there again.

Really nice cozy place. Nice scenery and good place for a hike. You can hear the river and birds chirping.

We loved our holiday skiing stay! We had two families, nine people - 4 adults and 5 young adults. The ski in/ out access was great and there was plenty of space for all of us to hang out in the great room. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and we cooked all our meals in! There is only seating for 7 at the table, but we moved a couple counter stools to the table so we could all sit there. We had some issues with the heat in the upstairs bedroom (too hot) but Shayla was responsive and helped us trouble shoot. We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The end unit is great for a beautiful view! The location is amazing to Ski in/Ski out! Very cozy with the fireplace. Love the large deck. Jesse and Dean were very helpful and quick to respond with my questions. Thank you for allowing my furry kids to join us!! It was really fun!!!!

What a perfect condo! So comfy and beautifully decorated. We love our Lutsen mountain vacations and this location can’t be beat. The ski in/ski out could not be more convenient! Nice little deck to sit and relax and enjoy a little après ski time. Mountain views and quick access to pool and hot tub! We definitely will be back.

From start to finish, our stay at Lutsen ski in/ski out condo at Caribou Highlands was comfortable and convenient, with ready access to the slopes. Shayla was always responsive when we had questions and we learned from locals that she is very highly regarded - this was no surprise to us. I would most certainly return.

It’s a great property with a wonderful location!! Lake Superior access is right across a small street and has gorgeous views!! The place itself is very well maintained and beautiful inside out. Plenty of space in the bedrooms, closets and living rooms. The big windows in the living room open up and adds to the charm of the house !! Overall an amazing experience!!

This incredibly comfortable and clean house was easy to locate and check in to. We loved relaxing on the deck and in the living room enjoying stunning views of Lake Superior. Thank you for having us, we hope to come back again!

The morning sunrises were amazing. The last night we saw the full moon rise over Lake Superior and honestly, it was one of the most spectacular moon rises we’ve ever seen. Definitely would stay here again. Close to town to walk everywhere and the hikes around get you in touch with nature. If you are headed to Grand Marais, I would highly recommend staying here.

The property is perfectly situated to walk into downtown Grand Marais and drive out to go hiking. The views from several perspectives are great. Everything was clean and we had all we needed for an easy stay.

This is Beautiful location and a very comfortable home. Close to serval beautiful waterfalls,hikes and the lutzen mountains. We loved the craftsman style of the home and there was plenty of room for our family of 6. We all felt right at home when we walked in! We all loved the fire pit by the lake and the one by the house, the stereo was a hit during breakfast and dinner which the kids said was a total 90s vibe! This location is right on Lake Superior with a great view from the lower deck. There would be an amazing lake view from the house with some tree trimming and we wished the yard was maintained as the grass and weeds were very long. Perfect spot on the North shore,would definitely stay here again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The property was clean, well maintained, and exactly as pictured. The space was cozy, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The location was ideal for all the hiking trails we explored.

Great place. If you are traveling in the winter bring a blanket. Not sure how the heating works but when we got there it was 60 degrees and took a solid Day to get up to mid/high 60s. Awesome place with a great view. We would 100% stay there again.

This house is amazing - so beautiful and comfortable for out group of 4 adults - could have easily accommodated more. The outdoor space is so perfect and indoors we had a nice big kitchen and dining space as well as more lounging space than we could use. The yard leading down to the lake is just as pictured - we felt so fortunate to have it to ourselves. This review is for the House - Paradise Found - that is managed by Cascade Vacation Rentals. It is a classic, beautiful north shore property that we felt lucky to be able to rent.

We really enjoyed our stay at Seacliff along the north shore of Lake Superior. We spent time exploring the rocks along the shore and seeing a surprise waterfall. Great stairs provide access to the lake. We loved the location close to Lutsen, Tofte, and Grand Marais, where we had fun doing hikes and exploring local coffee shops and restaurants. The house has a homey, clean, modern atmosphere. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything important. The beds were quite comfortable and there is a great master bedroom and bathroom. The day that we were to check in, a heavy wind and rainstorm came through the area, and as we were driving down the gravel county road leading to the unit, a large tree had blown down over the road and blocked our access to the unit. We called the property manager and they immediately responded, sending one of the maintenance people with a chainsaw and we soon were entering our unit for the weekend stay. We definitely will try to stay here again!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday here! The location and friendly, cozy tiny house was just perfect! Very cute and exactly the right space for a couples mini getaway! We loved it and very much enjoyed all the birds that surrounded us and the many bird feeders for birdwatching! The windows provided such a beautiful view of the lush and wooded property. The tiny house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking, relaxing and enjoying the north shore! Also, the lake is truly a few minutes by foot and a very easy walk to the beach, which offers easy access and beautiful views! Only a short walk to Bluefin Grill for dinner as well. We walked there twice for a nice meal during our stay. We also hiked Temperance River, Cascade Falls and Oberg Mountain…all very easy drives! Grand Marais was an easy drive as well for a day trip to Artist Point, shopping and lunch. Highly recommended this property for a couples getaway!
