Vacation rentals with beach access in Cook County

Communication with the hosts was smooth and fast before and during the stay. The studio was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the patio area, and reading by the fireplace in the evenings. It was so nice to relax on the lakeshore, and it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops nearby. I would def stay here again!

MaryKate was very welcoming when we arrived. Super friendly! The surroundings were beautiful with a perfect view of the lake from the front windows. Walking distance to the North Folk School campus and good restaurants. I would highly recommend a stay there.

Mitch and Kevin were excellent hosts. Perfect location for everything Grand Marais has to offer. The shared kitchen and living space was very cozy and the other group staying were friendly and respectful. Beds were comfortable, and they provided a dog bed for my pup that he loved! The only watch out is the seagulls. There was one nesting on the roof of the building that dive-bombed me and my dog a few times when we stepped outside. This is apparently a common thing in Grand Marais so would likely happen anywhere, but good to be aware of! Would absolutely stay again!

It’s a great property with a wonderful location!! Lake Superior access is right across a small street and has gorgeous views!! The place itself is very well maintained and beautiful inside out. Plenty of space in the bedrooms, closets and living rooms. The big windows in the living room open up and adds to the charm of the house !! Overall an amazing experience!!

This incredibly comfortable and clean house was easy to locate and check in to. We loved relaxing on the deck and in the living room enjoying stunning views of Lake Superior. Thank you for having us, we hope to come back again!

Perfect place to relax and recharge. The house had everything we needed and Deidra left a basket of goodies filled full with snacks! The property was private and peaceful and I loved the walkways to the fire pit and lake. I wish we had more time there to enjoy the area but we will definitely return! The master bathtub was HUGE and I really appreciated the bath salts and candles. Plenty of beds to choose from and the house was beautifully decorated with books, rocks and really unique touches to make it feel warm and inviting. The back patio was a perfect place to wake up and have coffee and the beds were very comfortable. Beautiful property!

This house is in Hovland on the North Shore (relatively close to the Canadian border), and the view from the house of Lake Superior is breathtaking. You can just sit there and enjoy it. The home is well-equipped, with a lovely wood-burning fireplace (it made an especially lovely aroma in the house). We also liked the charming river bordering the property, it's literally a small river going through which gives more feelings of wilderness. Easy access to Grand Marais, Lutsen, and Grand Portage, and also to abundant hiking trails, which we really enjoyed.

Carrie was a great host! She was easy to communicate with and very kind! Her home was also even more beautiful than the pictures, if that’s even possible. As a large group we had plenty of space, and her home was stocked to meet our needs.

Our stay at Agua Norte was absolutely amazing! We stayed in the Loft and loved the space. It’s exactly as described and the property is even more beautiful than the pictures. So close to the town and other great things to do but feels very private and secluded. It is a shared property but still feels private with each space. We loved it so much we didn’t even do all the adventuring we planned because we just loved being there! The Sauna was also wonderful, easy to book, and had a stunning view. We would absolutely come back!

We had a wonderful stay. The end unit is great for a beautiful view! The location is amazing to Ski in/Ski out! Very cozy with the fireplace. Love the large deck. Jesse and Dean were very helpful and quick to respond with my questions. Thank you for allowing my furry kids to join us!! It was really fun!!!!

Everything was perfect! Beautiful setting. Clean accommodations. Clear and helpful instructions in the apartment. Friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend!

My family and I stayed up here for a quick weekend trip, myself, my fiancée, our 6 month old and our dog. This Airbnb was the perfect combination of prime location and amenities. Day one before check-in we were able to drive the short distance to Grand Marais and go shop around the town, try out some new food, and walk the dog on the shore of Lake Superior. Check-in was such a breeze through the hosts extremely clear instructions. The condo was really clean and well stocked with all the little things that you forget to pack on a weekend away (and coffee)! The location being between Tofte and Lutsen let us get out to a few different towns to check out great food and drink options. One morning we went to Coho cafe for breakfast and coffee followed by 3 waterfalls all within 15 minutes, it made for a beautiful day. That afternoon we went down to the shore right at the resort and just took in the view. The sauna, hot tub and pool were just the cherry on top! Can’t wait to go back 👍

I've stayed at Croftville Road Cottages twice now and it has been great! The location and amenities are perfect for a North Shore getaway - close to Grand Marais and tons of hiking and nature. The hosts were quick and easy to communicate with. I'll definitely be back!

Our family of 4 stayed here for a long weekend. The condo was perfect for our family, with a private room for us and a loft with two twins for our boys. It was in a great location close to numerous hikes and Grand Marais. The view to Lake Superior was very nice, and we walked down to the shoreline to watch the waves and even saw trout and salmon going upstream poplar River.

What a beautiful place to stay, very peaceful and right on the water. The unit itself was really great for two people, very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor seating areas as well, very relaxing! Mike and Teresa were very friendly and have created a beautiful home.
