Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Contra Costa County

The Walnut Creek house is in a quiet neighborhood with tree lined streets. It's a nice place to walk with lots of friendly neighbors. The house is spacious and clean. There was plenty of room for doing yoga. The kitchen is well equipped with a nice coffee making station. The host was extra courteous by reaching out to make sure we were comfortable. It's a short drive to downtown Walnut Creek for lunch at our favorite restaurant, Dumpling Hours, and other shopping. It's a great place to stay; we'd enjoy coming back.

Noah's house is in a lovely section of North Berkeley — close to some great restaurants, groceries, and interesting shops on Solano Avenue (about a 10 minute walk). We needed a respite from the dog our daughter is fostering, and this well-maintained, peaceful home was perfect. We were able to get our work done (fast, reliable internet), go for walks, and recharge. Thank you, Noah!

Everything we imagined and wished for was at the Camppound. Our stay was delightful, cozy, fun, peaceful, Beautiful in and out nothing to want for everything was perfect. To Steve and Heather Thank you so kindly for your wonderful and kind welcome. We would not not have been able to do all of the things and stay the length we did for if it wasn’t for your generous cost to us during my Granddaughters graduation from Berkeley University.we will all be forever thankful and grateful , you are truly the most wonderful caring people, we were surely blessed finding this wonderful oasis and would definitely do it all over again without hesitation. Had a great stay in Oakland at this place. It was easy to check-in, very clean, and the host was very responsive. They left me a thank-you note which was a nice surprise. Would recommend to others for families, but don’t book if you want somewhere to party. The neighborhood was quiet and had beautiful views of the bay. Overall great!

Will was one of THE most responsive Hosts we've ever had! His instructions were 100% accurate and timely. The setting of this home is just incredible - mountains all around and we were here at a time when flowers were in full bloom! Exceptional! Even a lemon tree in the front yard! Really enjoyed a special family time here.

This was a really cute house in a great neighborhood. The host is super nice, responsive and kind. The bed (it was only me and I slept in the master) was really comfortable as was the couch. It was spacious, the kitchen was well stocked. I was able to do laundry and the entire place from top to bottom was spotless. This house is a gem!

I stayed at Hector’s place for three nights with my mom and son, and we had a lovely stay. From the start, Hector was very communicative, responding quickly to my questions and providing clear check-in instructions. The home was cute, spacious, and well-maintained—while some fixtures were a bit dated, everything was clean and had plenty of charm. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, with convenient access to shopping and restaurants. Overall, a great experience!

Great place, really easy to get in and figure out the amenities. One downside is it is close to the BART so there is some noise occasionally but overall the neighborhood is quiet, felt safe and walking distance to good coffee shops and stores.

Had to extend a stay in Berkeley at the last minute and this listing was perfect. No hassle, comfortable, great location and beautiful garden. Appreciated it was small dog friendly.

Our AirBnb stay was wonderful - great location, super walkable but still on a private/quiet road. We would highly recommend staying here! The place was clean and comfortable.

Good location, easy to check in late. I'm glad they provided fans since it gets warm during the day but cooled down rapidly when we got back.

Very grateful I found this place, Michael was extremely responsive. The place had a really nice loft and bedroom. The location is perfect to walk around and explore Alameda, one of my favorite places in the Bay Area.

Very cozy little apartment, we had a good time. The location is calm. Some things in the apartment are a bit old and could need some repair, but it’s all functional.

The complete Airbnb experience! This perfectly furnished, perfectly equipped studio tops any experience we have had recently for the top of the world/tree canopy feel you experience on the deck perched overlooking the bay! You really feel like you’re on top of a jungle canopy! Jan and his partner are incredibly attentive hosts too! Can’t wait to return.

From the extensive vinyl collection to the categorized bookshelf — from the skylights to the city panorama, there’s nothing that this loft doesn’t provide. The apartment was a perfect landing spot after a long day in the city and a restful environment for simply chilling out. Looking for a delicious dark roast paired with a fresh cheese danish, check out the bodega located right down the street. As for our host, Terri was a delight to communicate with. She made checkin/out a breeze and her personal touches of decor made it feel like home. Will come back to this Air BNB again no doubt.

Parents came to visit Berkeley, the place was great for hosting them. Joe was responsive and the place was super clean and well equipped!

This place was perfect for me. Very quiet and a Great comfortable High quality Tempur-pedic bed. Large Beautiful kitchen and living room and deck that is shared with the family, but they spend their time downstairs or at work mostly, so very quiet too. the host Family are very kind and friendly and respectful of the space. Two little dogs were absolutely darling and very well behaved and after the initial barking hello whenever you came home, completely quiet. And beautiful views and surroundings as well. Couldn't have asked for more.

My friends and I stayed at Seaon’s home for about a week and we felt right at home. It was a cozy spot with a beautiful outdoor porch and garden to hang out in. There was enough beds for four adults and a baby. Seaon was very easy to communicate with and also responsive when we discussed anything regarding the house. The neighborhood was fairly quiet during our stay which is always nice. We drove to Oakland, San Francisco, and parts of wine country from the house and found it to be in a good central location. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for somewhere to stay with your group.

This is our 2nd time at this Airbnb. We took my husband’s family here for our very first family vacation and they had a blast. House is very spacious and has lots of space to sleep. We utilized the provided paddle boards and kayaks. Everyone had a good time! We were able to bring our to doggos with us. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this place. The hosts are always quick and very responsive.

The house, especially the backyard, and the neighborhood in which it is situated, are stunningly beautiful. While guests do not have access to the master bedroom, the price for the rest of the house is well worth it.

This was a great escape in Oakland! Every guest had their own bathroom and the kitchen/living room space was so spacious.

Can't wait to go back, even though we live in the same town! We had to find a place quickly because we had some damage at our home and Laurie and Bradley were so accommodating and flexible. The property is gorgeous! And I can't say enough about the showers. Every piece of furniture was so comfortable, including the beds (and I am very picky when it comes to beds). The view was spectacular. Besides the incredible amenities, Laurie and Bradley were such incredible hosts and were very easy to reach and super responsive to the many requests we had to extend our stay. I highly recommend their house.
