We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage in a quiet spot. It was clean and comfortable and easy driving distance to the event we were attending.

My family and dog really enjoyed the cozy cabin. The yard is fun. While the stairs are challenging as described... it was also fun. While small, it has everything you need. as mentioned in other reviews, it is pretty close to the road. Our check-in with Lois was smooth and all the information we needed. it was great being able to walk over to the trail. Thank you so much.

We loved staying at Lucy’s. It’s one of those places that has everything you need, from extra blankets, lots of silverware, to high quality WiFi. And the surrounding area is beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at this historic cabin in a beautiful location surrounded by trees next to a peaceful lake. Super cozy fireplace in the cabin, BBQ grill and fire pit outside made for a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend!

The host Cameron was spot on with how wonderful this area is, awesome communication day in and day out as well. Beautiful little living place anyone could ask for! With easy access to the beach and food spots for food lovers. Cameron’s house was cozy and such a relaxing spot to be in. 10/10 would definitely stay here again for future visits!

We had such a delightful stay here. The photos don’t do it justice. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, which we used extensively. When a couple of minor issues with the house popped up, Brian responded immediately. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The cabin is lovely, with a great wrap-around deck overlooking a bucolic scenery complete with a river and cascades. Jessica was always helpful and responsive and the house is comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen which is unexpected in an Airbnb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Alex’s home was a vintage design beauty! You could tell how much thought and detail he put into his home. The amenities were wonderful, including a gorgeous living room, great sound system, well-stocked kitchen, outdoor wood burning chimney, BBQ, and bucolic tree-surrounded hot tub (which we loved). But the best part was Alex himself. What a nice guy! He welcomed us at check-in with delicious freshly baked sourdough bread and homemade ginger cookies later in our stay. He also gave us fantastic advice on things to do in the area. Overall, you’ll love this home nestled in the CT woods!

Jordyn & Gabby’s cabin was everything we were looking for! Very peaceful property with thoughtful amenities, and in close proximity to nearby towns, hiking, restaurants, etc. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

This place is spectacular. Truly. The setting in this bucolic area of Connecticut is itself completely jaw-droppingly beautiful, and then to arrive in this luxurious cabin-home is really even more icing on the cake. Spacious, meticulously built and maintained, with lots of room to settle into. The hot tub was a joy to use, it’s such a rarity to have a wooden, hot tub in a rental, and impeccably maintained. The kitchen is top of the line, with everything that you could want, and my husband was immediately obsessed with the record player in the living room. Everything works as described, and Laura was an incredibly responsive host, even helping me to find a salon last minute to do my hair before a wedding! Definitely recommend this place hands-down.

Wonderful stay in a unique, creative, clean cabin with everything that you may need. Michael and Beth were friendly and responsive and we felt very welcome on their property. There are plenty of beautiful trails and hiking in the area.

Kara was really wonderful with communication, it was a little hard to find simply because the road looks like someones driveway but after I passed it I realized where it was and found it easily after the. Sadly it rained all weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the back patio/River like we wanted to but the inside space was comfy and accomodating for a rainy day. The diner up the road was great and there were nearby restaurants/stores. Overall good stay (minus the mosquitoes! but that comes with a River haha). I would recommend the diner up the road and Bevy had good ambiance and food as well.

My husband and I totally enjoyed staying at bungalow #3. It’s in a great location, short, walk to the beach and trails a lot of history in the area which we enjoy. Also, conveniently located to great restaurants in Clinton and the surrounding shore towns. Trish was a great hostess, and I would definitely rent again.

Beautiful and very well appointed cabin. Three large equally sized bedrooms and a very well stocked kitchen. Way better than average. Would definitely stay again super charming spot

The cabin was a perfect respite from the road as we headed from PA to ME with our dog. Tucked away in the woods, it was a quick drive into Norfolk for meals, although on a longer stay we would have cooked in the well-equipped kitchen. The cabin was obviously carefully & lovingly restored to retain the original character yet bring it up to date and add so much storage, it was even more charming than in the photos. The unifying pistachio trim throughout was lovely. It's all about the shower and bed, and both were perfect. Nice linens! As we were there during a rare heat wave, while the ceiling fan in the bedroom helped, we felt the lack of a/c, but that was probably unusual and tons of windows all open. Our pup appreciated the fenced back yard and expansive porch where you could hear Blackberry Creek bubbling peacefully. Norfolk is super cute and we took Heather's dining suggestions to our delight. Highly recommended getaway!

Quiet, peaceful location with lake access and a nice little beach within short walking distance. Loved the screened porch! Keith was a great host- welcoming and responsive. The cabin had everything we needed and a great historical charm.

Tom has everything you could possibly need in the cabin! The location is peaceful and a great place to recharge. I would definitely recommend his place for your next trip!

I would recommend this stay to anyone who needs getaway escape right on the lake as pictured!! It was a great family bonding trip We enjoyed it all Very close (10 min drive) to Torrington for groceries restaurants or any necessities or activities outside of cabin
