From the entrance hall, there is direct access to the kitchen, dining room and bathroom. The dining room has access to the bedroom. On the first floor there is via living room access to bathroom and two bedrooms, one of which has its own access to terrace. On the 2nd floor is the living room with access to large terrace. I cannot recommend Catalina as a host, highly enough. Her place is spotless, beautifully, decorated, and practical. It has everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the bathroom to the living room , to the bedroom. It is a peaceful, beautiful, serene place to stay So much so that I often did not want to leave it. Catalina is extremely responsive as a host and anticipates all of your needs. As a host myself, I appreciate all of her efforts and recommend her place very highly.

Cute, unique home, well thought design and kitchen well stocked. Great top terrace with lots of sun! Caroline is super friendly and welcoming with lots of helpful instructions! Parking is close and easy. it's a wonderful lesser-known gateway to Maroma and El Saltillo.

The Studio at Finca la Vida with sea views

Finca la vida was a dream stay in the nature with a magical view! The studio itself is very cozy and charming. It has a nice minimal decoration along with everything you would need as amenities and a great bathroom. Tasty olive oil to use and delicious coffee with some snacks to welcome us was a great plus! Although they have their own house near the studio, it feels very separate and you feel you are pretty alone. The view is to die for. It is not the easiest to get in terms of location but I see that as a cost to pay to be in the middle of such nature and once you get there with food you dont need to leave at night. The road down the mountain was not a hassle for us, instead everyday we enjoyed the ride with a view. We had breakfast under their fig tree every morning while watching the view. They have a great seperate yoga/view spot. Stargazing in the night is purely out of the world. Samantha was very helpful with recommendations and she was easily reachable. We will be back:)

Old townhouse in Competa. Short distance to beautiful hiking paths in the hills around Competa. The house is in traditional rual style, and decorated in a personal Scottish style, no Ikea to spoil the picture. We liked the house. Competa is really a trip worth if you like to hike.

A unique village house with garden and 4 terraces spread over the entire house. Beautiful lemon tree and a huge olive tree give the garden a lot of shade. The stairs in the house are special and the floors of the dining room and bedroom are also beautiful. It is cozy and tastefully decorated. The host was not there and also there (remotely). Everything is available in the house. We even liked watering the plants very much. Please note that you cannot park in front of the door and that the village itself also involves descending and climbing. Around 7 p.m., the older ladies from the village go to the church and pray/sing together. Don't miss this, because this is the only time to visit the church, and it is a sight to see. With respect for the ladies, of course. Restaurants are fine and please go to the small grocery store and bakery. Plenty of hiking.

This house is nestled near the top of a hill and offer marvelous views of the bay and beach of La Herradura. The house offers great rooms and plenty of space to share. The pool and deck offer a great place to relax and enjoy the views. Victor is a great host and provided great communication and suggestions of things to explore locally.
