Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Colón Island

Ronald's place is just a little haven in front of the picturesque Bluff Beach. With sometimes strong streams and big waves (even though safe if you are careful), we were super happy to have the opportunity to let our little 4 years baby swim and play in the pool. The atmosphere and the terrace were to have breakfast with a nice view overlooking the garden is so welcoming with a comfortable sitting area. Everything was clean and the breakfast prepared by friendly staff every day was very good. Karen and Steve who were here taking care of the place were very helpful and always available with tips, and recommendations for things to do or to book. The location is also just amazing surrounded by wildlife. With peaceful monkeys in the trees ! I definitely recommend the place and hope to come back one day !

Staying at Bluff Beach Retreat was amazing, check in was very easy as Ron arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport and bring us to the retreat via a shop to pick up some groceries. Augusto was a great host during our time there. We felt right at home and any questions or requests were handled very quickly. The location is amazing, right by the beach and with beautiful gardens and lots of wildlife. We’d happily stay here again

The property is beautiful - lush gardens and forest, monkeys/sloths/frogs/birds around (but not a lot of bugs!), beautiful beach at front door (very strong waves, not good swimming, just wading). Service was great (lovely breakfast, recommending/coordinating outings, cleaning/maintenance). Would love to be back someday!

Easily the nicest, kindest, most gracious hosts I've had on AirBnB, also the first bed and breakfast I've stayed at on the app. Fantastic breakfast and a great time all around. Also walkable to Bocas town easily

Manon is an excellent host, he gave us the best tips, recommendations, he asked us for taxi boats that arrived very quickly, so we could go to different tourist places in the area! The place is amazing, it is located in the middle of a natural reserve, where you can see a lot of fauna and vegetation, we saw lazy monkeys, lots of variety of birds and diverse wildlife. It is a very but very pleasant place for a full connection with nature, 1000% recommended Also that the stay comes with breakfast included for the price, the restaurant where they serve it is very nice, is upstairs and has a wonderful view! I also recommend paying for dinner so you can enjoy good food, an amazing view, and some very good glasses of wine! I recommend Ataraxia to anyone who likes nature

We had such a fabulous time at Saigon B&B that we felt sad leaving. We felt right at home and Angie and Nicholas were so helpful!! A definite highlight was the breakfast outside on the terrace each morning!! Thank you so much, it was a lovely stay!! Would definitely recommend!!

If you're looking for a quiet area to enjoy nature and the beach, this is your place. The hotel had all the facilities you could need, the food is delicious and Nahuel prepared some great cocktails. To get there you have all the facilities, by public transport or with a taxi, the number of which they provide.

We stayed here for our ten year anniversary celebration and were so happy we did. The weather ended up being a bit on the rainy side, but we still had a wonderful time going on lots of walks, playing games, swimming in the rain, and of course enjoying the food. Definitely our favorite food we had during our whole trip in Panama. We would have extended if we could only to try more from their menu. Thank you for a really relaxing time and we hope to visit your paradise again someday.

Firefly is a really cute place to stay on Bastimentos island! If not for the rooms, be sure to try at least the food: it was nothing short of amazing! And breakfast is included too, and those didn't disappoint! We were greatly welcomed with drinks and recommendations as well. The room is typical of Bocas: water from rainwater, no A/C but fans (the room is near the ocean so there's fresh air, works pretty well), basic bathroom. Nothing fancy but it's functional and part of the island's charm. The only downside we found was that although it's facing the ocean (beautiful view and sunsets!), there isn't a beach nor places to really swim (water is accessible but it isn't easy). For a sand beach you'll have to walk to town and do a short hike (about 30mn total from Firefly). We recommend the place for sure !

Tammy is a great host with a charming locale off the main road (which was great because it was Carnival). Fantastic bfast, clean room and she even gave me a lift to the airport (which was close and convenient), but appreciated none the less!

We had wonderful 3 nights at La Luciernaga. The place is beatiful, clean, spacious and has a lovely relaxation area with kitchen and hammocks sorrounded by nature. We spotted tucans and humming birds from there and fell asleep to the sound of howler monkeys in the trees. There were a few good restaurants within walking distance so the location was perfect for us as we wanted to be away from the noise of the town. Carlos and his wife were fantastic hosts and took great care of the guests. Breakfast was delicious and you could see all the care that went into ensuring everything was not just good but 100% perfect. the only caution is the lane leading to the property floods in heavy rain and becomes barely passable without wellies so you might get your feet wet, but it didnt bother us. altogher a fabulous place to stay.

We spent only two nights in La Luciérnaga, but we would have wanted it to be many more. One of the best places I've stayed in-clean, beautiful, comfortable, and with warm and attentive hosts to the well-being of their guests. Carlo and his family are attentive and polite, excellent people. The room is just as you can see in the photos, the bathroom has a nice shower and with a refreshing and invigorating flow. The bed is super comfortable and sleeps lulled by the sounds of nature. Kitchen area is complete and comfortable and the terrace space with hammocks is relaxing. The wifi is great. Although it is about 4 km away from the center of Bocas, it is easy to get around by taxi or walk a little to take the public minibus. It is halfway to Playa Bluff and La Piscina and close to where you can take the mic to go to Playa de Las Estrellas. And the cherry on the cake: breakfast. Just delicious. Homemade food with details from Italy. Highly recommended! <3

Carlo and his wife are very nice hosts. The open kitchen is so nice, especially when it is dark and the place is lighted. The breakfast is also amazing! The person that cleaned the room was very respectful and did a fantastic job! There are a lot monkeys around the place and we saw some Sloths at Bluff Beach 😍

lovely place - 1 min into the jungle and 1 min to the beach. my little brother complained about the internet in the cabaña. i personally didn't care as the beach bar in front had a starlink. awsome stay. thank you!

Sally and Mike were awesome!!!! When we first arrived Sally was so sweet and very welcoming ! Their bnb is literally gorgeous, has the most perfect dock to watch the fish swim around. I love books and she had a couple “lonely planet” books to help with what to do in Bocas del toro. Also, Sally and Mike provide a delicious breakfast every morning (something different each time ! ) The rooms are very spacious and so clean! Sally and Mike described a local drop off spot for us when we took the local bus or a taxi, which was so so so helpful! They had made a “cheat sheet” of the islands with amazing recommendations of places to eat. If we had any questions Sally and Mike responded extremely quickly and were always so helpful! My husband and I really enjoyed staying at sunsetters ! We will definitely be back especially because completely fell in love with Bocas del Toro. Thank you Sally and Mike !!

This was our favorite place on our 6 week tour through Central America. Quiet, peaceful, clean and in the middle of a beautiful oasis garden. Great communication, helpful advices for tours and contacts, flexible and super nice. Boca was our favorite place in Panama, especially because of this very well thought through place. Thank you!!

Carolina and her place were wonderful! She's very helpful and responsive and the room is quite comfortable. The food, at the restaurant below the guest rooms, serves amazing food! It can be a bit noisy if you wake up later than 8am or go to bed earlier than 10pm, though. The view is amazing and because it's right off the main road, it's convenient to get a taxi into town. You will need to walk/ride/drive a bit to get to an accessible beach, but it's safe and not too far from the property. Highly recommended for shorter stays.

Great hostel. Welcoming place and everything was as advertised. Met wonderful people staying there. They had lots of great activities and tours you could book directly from them, some of these cheaper than other alternatives on the island.

It was fantastic to be at this wonderful bed & breakfast. Great place with wonderful people. I will definitely book again when I go to Bocas. Thanks for your great hospitality.
