Great location, spacious apartment, rooftop pool pool overlooking the sea view and gym. The apartment has everything you need. There are no interruptions with light — there is a generator. Great fast wifi.

The apartment needs more attention and cleanness in general The tower is very beautiful and tidy, and the public swimming pool is very clean and there are guards on Madar for 24 hours, but the site is very far away and the neighborhood is poor and is not temple It is difficult to request Uber or Pickme. Sometimes it can take up to 20 minutes and the driver is rejected more than once

Amazing Place! With spectacular view. With a very helpful and nice host. The place is very easy to find and super close to CMB airport ( less than 30 mns) if you are looking for a beautiful ,calm and high end place to stay which is not far from the city center I don’t know any better option! Undoubtedly the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka. The place was stylish, gets lots of light, and is super quiet and peaceful at night. The area is a little outside of the main part of colombo but you can easily get an uber into the centre for just 500rs, and the benefit is that you’re in a nice leafy suburb with some great local restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely be staying again!

The apartment of Prad is a wonderful place with the most stunning view on the lotus tower you can imagine. Additionally, the free to use roof top pool is an outstanding experience. An another good point is that a supermarket is right infront of the door. Prad was always available and a great host. Next time in Colombo, we will definitely book again. Thank you so much Prad!

I had a fantastic stay at Upul's place. It feels very 'homely' and you feel instantly relaxed. It was very clean, the air cons and fans cooled the house down perfectly, and it had everything I needed for my stay. I guarantee I will stay here again when I return to Sri Lanka, as I have family close by. The WiFi is fast, and the host is very responsive. Only 2 min walk and you're at Pilawoos, a 24 hour place to eat! I also ordered UberEats every single night with no issues, many restaurants to choose from, even at 3am. Thank you for hosting me.

Have just spent our 2nd stay here. For us, the garden is why we returned, which is kept very tidy by Velu. So peaceful to relax in during the day, with plenty of varied wildlife to entertain you during the day, especially the chipmunks. Our bedroom was comfortable, bed linen clean, a/c & ceiling fan kept it cool. Bathroom/ shower room ample size and more than satisfactory. Kitchen had everything as described, which includes the washing machine. We spent 99% of our time outside either in the garden or under the spacious veranda. No issue with WiFi. Keels supermarket 4 min walk away which has everything you might need. Good local food outlets, and we have tried them all in the past 2 years with no problems. Best find was Crepe Runner which is well worth the 10min stroll. Felt safe and secure with Velu on hand for anything you might need, together with Chaminder who will pop round at least twice a day, to check that everything is fine. Would have no hesitation staying again.

Jay's place was really great for a 1 night stay. The area was quiet, peaceful and surrounded by lush greens. It was easy to get around with a car. As a host, both Jay and Vino were very helpful and responsive even late at night. Pleasant stay overall.

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

Bonus points for the fast Wi-Fi, great water pressure in the shower, comfy bed, and fully equipped kitchen - it felt like a home away from home. Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

Amazing stay! Restaurants and location nearby from all places you’d wanna travel. Very spacious rooms and kitchen. Wifi kept conking off but guess that was due to the weather. there was no AC but a cooler unit kept in one of the rooms. Was our miss we didn’t catch this earlier but overall quite good stay and Shiffan was super helpful about everything and responsive as well! Cheers.

The apartment was nice and cosy. Had lovely views of the city and the sea. Located in a safe area with security at the ground level. Lots of amenities within walking distance or a short tuk ride away. Ahmed and Shaira are also sweet and very responsive hosts. They personally came to check us in and out. They even have a little guide with recommendations for tourists. No regrets staying in Alfred Fern. Definitely will go back again on our next trip to Colombo!

Stayed with 2 other people. Tamara was a great host. She was very helpful and communicative. She was particularly helpful as we navigated our airport cab driver who needed additional directions. You get what you see in the photos on the listing. A note for people with big bags or luggage: you will have to use stairs to get to the rooms (one room is on the 2nd floor along with the kitchen and dining, and the other two are on the 3rd) The rooms had towels and linens, comfy beds, although could do with a bit more dusting prior to people checking in. Tamara left bottled water for us in the fridge as well, which we appreciated. You will have all the basic necessities. While it's not a major issue, we were surprised by the open holes in the bathroom showers. They are high enough to give you privacy, but open out into the side of the building with no screen or cover. Overall, this is a good choice if you need a safe place to sleep and leave your things, as you explore Colombo.

The location of property is absolutely amazing. Easily accessible to supermarkets, restaurants, clothing stores, etc. The apartment I stayed in was fully furnished with all amenities including all kitchenware, towels and toiletries. The space is cooled very well with the bedroom and living space each having its own AC unit. The caretaker greeted kindly and guided me to the room, which had it's Air Conditioning turned on before I even entered. Didn't have to walk in to a warm damp room! He even took care of my laundry. Overall my experience staying here was amazing. The hosts son who manages the property is very welcoming and communicated well throughout my stay. Definitely a hidden gem in Colombo.
