Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Coles Bay

It was a really scenic beautiful home if you love nature and beaches. There were many corners of the house where you can just glance into the scenery right at your doorsteps. At night while a tinge creepy, opens you up to a blanket of stars. We even caught the Milky Way on phone. Unforgettable. Only complaint is that during winter, while there’s a central heating system, the master bedroom at the far end of the house gets really cold even with the added wall heater. Might be good to have an A/C heating in the room. Also, the sign for the unit from the road can be clearer and bigger since the location on Google map leads you to drive up the neighbour’s house. But overall, beautiful house with great view!

The Sea Keeper is a lovely little cottage with everything you need for a great holiday in the area. The location is 10/10 for exploring the east coast and only wish we had based ourselves longer there. As far as the town of Bicheno, the cottage is incredibly central, allowing us to walk everywhere. A beautiful fireplace, cosy living area, very comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen (including ground coffee and machine!) just topped it off! Highly recommend

Perfection. Attention to detail- even in the kitchen…we had all the dishes and utensils necessary to cook like a chef at the house! There are even pantry items there- so check on that before running to the grocery store in town because we bought doubles in some things. I’m sure the selections in the pantry will vary. In addition, there may be garden produce ready for the picking!! Make sure and check with the host first- that will be seasonal, I’m sure. Beds are comfortable, showers have hot water, tub with jets is helpful after a day of sight-seeing. As owner notes, it isn’t hot, just warm…but it was still a good experience. Decks overlook bay/ocean- you get to witness the changing colors of the Hazards throughout the day standing over the bay. And if you are wondering- we saw amazing Aurora lights out over the water! Windows everywhere! Just incredible’views- there are no words. And you boy minutes from Swansea. Host has a book with restaurant suggestions. Grocery.❤️

Beautiful cottage, very comfortable and homely. The place was very clean. Check-in was easy and Wendi and Mike made themselves available if required. Would stay again

A great location for a family holiday - plenty of room in the well equipped house and straight onto a stunning beach. The master suite with a view over the sea was idyllic and the garden space was wonderful.

Alison and Rod’s place was wonderful. Far bigger than expected and with everything you could need to feel right at home including a huge DVD collection to help entertain the kids. They also helped us out tremendously when we found ourselves in a lurch by mistakenly not having accommodation our first night in town even though it was late on a Sunday night they helped us sort out alternative accommodation and for an early check in the next day. We’d love to come & stay again one day potentially with a wider group as there was plenty of space and all the facilities for a larger group catch up.

Fabulous view of the hazards. Well equipped home with heat pump and private deck area out the back. Short walk to local shop/cafe. I would stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay in Coles Bay. House was in a great location to the towns restaurants, groceries and to the national park. We loved our stay.

I stayed here with some friends for two nights while visiting Coles Bay to do the Mt Amos hike in Freycinet National Park and it was the perfect base. The location was peaceful and conveniently close to the national park, cafes, and the beach. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay during Autumn. The host was responsive and helpful, making the whole experience easy and stress-free. The only other thing is we ran out of gas for the BBQ grill on our final night but was too tired and late in the evening to inform the host. Something we'd definitely request in future. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to the area!

What a beautiful place to stay. Rob was the perfect welcoming committee, the photos did not do the property justice and the eye for detail and thoughtful finishing touches made our weekend truly perfect! Thank you so much - all of our cups are filled and we will be coming back for sure 🌊🙏🏻☀️
