The Nook - Hidden gem, secluded, peaceful, modern.

The Nook is a converted garage unit which is detached from our house with private entrance, outdoor seating area and key safe for entry. Accommodation comprises of living room/kitchenette, bedroom and wet room. Selection of breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A T.V/D.V.D player are for your use, as is a microwave and induction hob for light cooking. Comfortable seating and a small dining area complete the main room.

Crumbleclive Cabin

Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. It is perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway to recharge the batteries!

The Annexe is in the picturesque village of Crayke, surrounded by beautiful views and walks in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Lots of places to explore inc National Trust Sites and Houses. Crayke is surrounded by lots of eateries and quaint market towns, whilst been only a 20 minute drive from York, a hot spot for history. Surrounding villages offer dog friendly walks including woodland, field and lake or river. Within an hour are the Yorkshire Dales and Moors.

The Den at Husthwaite Gate

The Den is cosy and comfortable and offers great accommodation for up to 6 guests (adults and children). It is a cleverly and sympathetically converted building on a site which was originally a sidings for the local railway station (closed in 1960's). Materials were up-cycled giving a special timber interior but benefits from up to date fittings and technology It is on a private and tranquil site in open countryside with great views and lovely walks.

The Little House Peaceful & self-contained

Located in the centre of the lovely village of Kilburn on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, Woodmans Annexe is peaceful, cosy and self-contained, tucked away from the general hustle and bustle of the village. The Forresters Arms, serving local ales and all meals including breakfast, is a mere 20m across the square. The Mouseman Furniture Centre is just around the corner and the White Horse of Kilburn is a good walk up the hill.

'Narnia' is situated in Thirsk, a traditional North Yorkshire market town and an ideal location for exploring the national parks of the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales. Home to the award winning museum, 'The World of James Herriot, the attractions of York and Harrogate are all within easy access. Thirsk also prides itself in its racecourse where flat racing can be experienced through the summer.
