The Parsonage 1873 - No Fees!

Make your trip unforgettable! Step back into the Wild West, the early days of Hays City! One of the oldest homes still standing from the early days of Hays, built in 1873. This two bedroom, two bath, has been renovated to reflect the rough and tumble, primitive days in Hays City. With modern amenities such as, but not limited to, heated floors, air conditioning, walk in showers, a large antique soaking tub, coffee, king and queen beds. Historic photos and books make for an interesting stay!

Relax and enjoy the beautiful, quiet country setting. We are a working ranch family, so you will often find cattle grazing nearby and hay being baled in the summer. Bring your bike/tennis shoes for miles of country roads. Your well trained pets are welcome and we have space for a few horses to overnight too! Hunting nearby is abundant and wildlife sightings are almost guaranteed. Whether staying for a night on your way through or coming to hunt for a few days/weeks, we'd love to have you!

Little green getaway

Welcome to my little Kansas getaway. The home has a very comfortable living room, a main floor bedroom with a queen bed and big closet, a nice little updated kitchen, and a bathroom with tub on the main floor. There is a 2nd bedroom on the basement level (stairs to access) with 2 full size beds along with washer/dryer. This home is only 1 block away from Main Street shopping, coffee, dining, a movie theatre, and a world-class Motorcycle museum. This house is not handicap accessible.

The backyard view is memorizing with gently rolling hills, abundant wildlife, and wide-open spaces. Room amenities include free parking, free internet, Netflix, and a private entrance to the room with a private bathroom.

The Cabin

The Cabin is located in the small, rural town of Brewster, just off Interstate 70 between Colby and Goodland. It is furnished with a double bed and futon on the lower level and a twin bed in the loft. The loft is accessible via a pull-down ladder. A mini-fridge, Keurig, and microwave available. No wifi or TV, a playground nearby, three blocks from a small grocery store that serves meals, but the days and times vary with the seasons.

If you’d like to get away from fast pace life and enjoy a nice, quiet, country cabin get away this is the place for you! Feel refreshed when you stay in this rustic gem w all the modern amenities.
