Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Coimbra District

Luis and his family were incredibly hospitable! Luis greeted us on arrival and gave a wonderful historical tour of the property and surrounding village. Luis’s mother and father who live on site, were very attentive to our stay & asked if we’d like fresh bread delivered everyday, which we very much appreciated and enjoyed. The home was well stocked and had every amenity you need! Although the home was a little further outside of Coimbra than we anticipated, the much needed peace and quiet was welcomed. The area felt so safe and many locals in town left their keys right in the front door as we walked by! We found a nearby flowing river that was walkable from the home and just wow! What a beautiful hidden gem! We highly recommend this host and property!

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung! Sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Wunderbar waren der volle Kühlschrank und täglich frische Brötchen zum Frühstück-Danke! Sehr schön auch der botanische Garten nur 200m entfernt. Ein winziger Wehrmutstropfen ist die relativ laute Straße, aber die Fenster sind gut, also ist das kein Problem.

Wij zijn 3 nachten gebleven, maar langer was ook fijn geweest. Het huis is ruim, schoon en dichtbij het centrum. Met leuke eergelegenheden en strand. Ook met kinderen lijkt ons dit prima locatie. De mogelijkheid van de fietsen gebruik te maken is mooie bonus. En er zijn fietspaden :-). Wij raden het zeer aan.

My family very much enjoyed this unique and calm location in a refurbished mill house. There is a boardwalk across the road that brings you to the village. David was responsive and helpful. Would gladly return.

The view is amazing and the place is very peaceful. Bring some supplies with you as the nearest supermarket is 15m away (by car) and enjoy the nature. Everything was as announced, clean and with everything needed to cook.

Casa muy bonita con todas las comodidades y muy completa, hay de todo para pasar toda la estancia, todo impecable, nos hemos sentido como en casa, sitio tranquilo ideal para desconectar y estar en un ambiente natural. Cerca de Coimbra que es a donde nosotros íbamos. Pedro ha estado muy atento y responde muy rápido si tienes alguna duda. Sin duda lo recomiendo al 100%.Hemos ido 5 amigos y el espacio es perfecto para todos.Volveremos sin dudarlo, pero la próxima lo haré con mis hijos, me parece ideal para ir con niños.

Geweldige accommodatie. Heel veel ruimte en perfect bijgehouden. Nog mooier dan op de foto’s. Sergio was een hele goede gastheer en houdt alles super goed bij samen met zijn broer. Het was geweldig voor onze dochter van 4 jaar. Leuk speeltuintje erbij. Ik zou zo weer terug gaan.

Alojamento muito limpo, mobiliado e localizado. Ideal para familias com até 05 pessoas. Ficamos aproximadamente 12 dias e o alojamento possui toda a infraestrutura necessária. Local muito próximo a baixa de Coimbra e principais pontos turísticos. Agradeço muito ao Paulo pela atenção e presteza. Esperamos poder retornar novamente !

David’s apartment was a great place for our night in Coimbra. It’s very close to the walled city, which made it easy to walk around and explore. It was also near several luggage storage places which helped on our partial day in the city. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the views of the old city. It was also near several cafes and restaurants, which was a bonus. We would stay again.

Appartement propre et fonctionnel, situé en plein cœur de Coimbra. Nous avons pu visiter toutes les attractions que nous avions listées à pied de l’appartement. Seuls bémols: il n’y a pas de stationnement gratuit dans les alentours et on entend la musique jouer dans le quartier jusqu’aux petites heures du matin. Je recommande quand même car il y a beaucoup plus d’avantages que d’inconvénients.

Bravo pour le logement hyper propre. Hôte très réactif par message. Rien à dire. On était au calme et l appartement est très bien situé pour aller visiter Coimbra . Encore un grand merci à Ana👍

A escapadinha perfeita para uma pausa da rotina e do ritmo acelerado do dia a dia! Seja para uma estadia em família ou para uma escapadinha romântica a dois, este é, sem dúvida, o cantinho mágico que tanto procura! A receção não poderia ter sido mais calorosa: a Limor é a anfitriã que todos sonhariam encontrar — cuidadora, atenta e genuinamente dedicada a cada detalhe. O apartamento, acolhedor e familiar, exala charme e encanto em cada recanto. A decoração, de um requinte subtil e de extremo bom gosto, transporta-nos de imediato para um ambiente sereno e inspirador. A energia pacífica e relaxante do quarto convida-nos a viajar mentalmente para destinos exóticos, onde o som do silêncio embala a alma — e onde chamar "paraíso" parece até insuficiente. Muito obrigada, querida Limor! Até breve — já contamos os dias para voltar!

Não tive problemas na estadia, pois já tinha alugado outro studio nesse mesmo local, alguns anos atrás. Correspondeu as expectativas. Local de fácil acesso para onde queira ir em Coimbra. Mercado praticamente em frente ao studio. Não tenho o que reclamar. Agradeço os anfitriões pela atenção. Até breve!!!

Tiago’s family’s home is beautiful, and in an amazing location! Very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Tiago was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The place is across from a bar, but with ear plugs and white noise (also closes at 1am, so not too late), we had amazing sleeps in a very comfortable bed! Highly recommend this Airbnb!

Very responsive host, the place was great, within a few minutes from the old town and the river. I would recommend it for a family of 4 like ours. Thanks for everything.

Even though it is listed as being in Figueira da Foz, it is actually in the neighbourhood of Buarcos. Much better. More authentic. You are steps away from the beach. Daniel and Elisabete are a nice, hardworking couple. Very friendly. The place is perfect, quiet and in the old part of town. You are within the old remparts. Nice walks and beach strolls all around. Lidl supermarket 5 minutes away. The terrace is beautiful. Big plus. I definitely recommend this place.

Excelente! Um sitio muito bom para passar férias. A casa está lindíssima , com tudo o que necessitamos para passar umas semanas de férias . A vista que temos do Oceano é maravilhosa. O senhor António é muito atencioso . Super recomendo.

Perfect location for a solo traveler, staying just one night in Coimbra. what I loved was how walkable the apartment was to everything, from the city center to the gardens to the university. And then all of the river walk being so accessible and close was a huge bonus. I really enjoyed my overnight here and found the apartment to have what I needed. Eduardo and Manuela were responsive and helpful!

El apartamento está bien ubicado, limpio, a 10 minutos del centro, es una zona tranquila, se aparca muy bien de forma gratuita , nosotros hemos estado muy agusto, lo único que si hubiese agradecido por la comodidad de su uso para calentar, es un microondas y una cafetera italiana, aunque había cafetera eléctrica y horno, no obstante nos apañamos bien.

Everything pretty clean and comfortable Lacks some cooking materials, but for a few days stay is more than enough
