Our property sits on 4 acres of tranquil countryside at the top of the verdant Dordogne valleys. Sit back, have a glass of wine, and watch the hot air balloons paint across the sky at sunrise or sunset. Use our bicycles to explore the locale or BBQ outside and take in the scenery.

Gite des Reves

Gîte des Rêves is situated in a quiet riverside location at the edge of a small rural commune called 'Cornus'. It is part of a larger village a few minutes away 'Cénevières', that boasts a stunning medieval chateaux. A small communal shop and a delightful brasserie, where you can have a drink in the day or enjoy a tasty meal at night. You can stay home and relax in the Gite's pretty garden, inviting pool with its river views or explore this beautiful region 'Les Causses du Quercy'.

Rest and relaxation in the countryside

My place is close to the A20 highway access (exit 56) in the center of the department and close to the most tourist places (Rocamadour, St Cirq Lapopie, Cahors, Figeac, Padirac...) but also to the Lot and Célé Valley. The place is ideal for stargazing (black triangle) recognized by all amateur astronomers for walks and enjoying the joys of the Lot, Dordogne and Célé rivers (boat, canoe...). NB: 7-day minimum rental in high season from mid-May to late September

Le logement est proche de restaurants, d’activités adaptées aux familles, de la vie nocturne, de la rivière et principalement des sites touristiques importants dans la région.

The village of Cazals, a 500m stroll away, boasts a super market every Sunday , 12 months of the year, as well as an award winning boulangerie, farm shop, restaurants., etc..

Cette petite maison en pierre, pleine de caractère, est l'endroit parfait pour se détendre en pleine campagne. Profitez de sa grande piscine (12m X 6m) avec vues exceptionnelles sur la vallée du Lot. Le logement est très bien situé pour visiter Figeac, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie ou les célèbres grottes de Pech-Merle, et aussi pour profiter des randonnées magnifiques dans la région et du canoë-kayak à quelques kilomètres dans la vallée du Célé.

Extra bed linen and towels: €9 per person. Le Bois de Faral is a gites village, respectful of the environment. Not just for the beautiful environment in the Lot, but because we humans, live in this environment that we would want as healthy as possible to be well there. Play in the pool, do nothing, watch the kids... enjoy. Not sure what to do? Don't want to do anything? We offer each other, with no sense of priorities.
