Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is comfortable, light, spacious & warm. It has a modern clean feeling coupled with the charm of a traditional Scalpay island home.

Cottage has, games ,books, picnic basket and a airfyer Smart TV DVD player .Dark Skies Area Excellent area for getting off the beaten track , otters, sea eagles . Close enough to Leverburgh for trips to St Kilda and all other amenities. Cottage on the shoreline with lovely bay. The east side of Harris is single track roads with passing places.

Two bedroom wooden cabin overlooking the Minch
A unique small house on a private croft hosted by Grant & Lorna who are from Harris and live 300m next door to the cabin. Our cabin has 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds, and a large open plan living space with kitchen. We are 10 minutes from Tarbert and 30 mins from the west side beaches. A wood burning stove will keep you warm in the evenings. A large wrap around balcony is lovely for sitting outside and watching the seals and otters in the bay, we do get midges so repellant is advised.

Number 6 is a cosy cottage just 4 miles from Tarbert. The house is in an elevated position which has stunning views of the sea and the old whaling station. It has a cosy sun room with a wood burner, as well as outdoor seating so you can take in the view in style. We offer week long stays, Friday to Friday, March to October. We then move to shorter stays (min of 3 nights) from November to February. The house also benefits from free WiFi and a local produce welcome hamper on arrival.
