Beautiful farm setting in Lanark

40 minutes west of Kanata, ON in Lanark Highlands, 20 kms west of Almonte. The Doll House is a small cottage that overlooks the garden, with a queen size bed, heated and air conditioned, has a small fridge, kettle and coffee maker and a small BBQ. There is a sink and toilet in the Doll House and an OUTDOOR hot shower. We also have the Gate House to rent (see my other listing) which has 2 single beds, sitting area, kitchenette and bathroom with shower for $125 a night. Come, enjoy the farm!

Our home is spacious and bright and just steps away from historic downtown Almonte with its vibrant main street and amazing waterfalls. We are situated beside a beautiful park where you can sit and relax, have a picnic, walk the trails, play frisbee golf, hit the splash pad and swings, or head down the hill to a park that sits on the edge of the Mississippi River. For cyclists, we are located just off the OVRT. Electric car owner? There is a charging station just 100m from the house.

Dayna and David are INCREDIBLE hosts. They took care of every detail and looked after us when we were effectively snowed in. Their home is creative, beautiful, peaceful, spacious. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The whole neighbourhood is gorgeous and talk about lovely people! We want to come back in the summer. And the sauna! Let me tell you, in the winter, this was the sweetest treat. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience and how we were treated - like close friends. They get my highest recommendation.

Monika and her husband were amazing hosts, we found ourselves in an emergency late at night after our car broken down, they where really helpful taking us in, they have an amazing beautiful house and the apartment we got was very nice, clean, spacious and with the necessary gadgets to have a relaxing night after an stressful evening

This cabin was an absolute dream for our mothers' first visit to Canada! We were looking for something special, and this place exceeded all expectations. The location was ideal – a perfect blend of natural beauty and proximity to the city. What truly amazed us was how much more beautiful it was in person compared to the already great photos. The serene lake view, the perfectly stocked kitchen, and the immaculate cleanliness all contributed to an unforgettable stay. You can feel the warmth and care in every detail. The hosts were also fantastic, with quick and kind communication. They even helped us retrieve keys we'd accidentally left behind!
