Vacation rentals with lake access in Clay County

The location was wonderful, perfect view of the water, and so peaceful. Our only issue was all of the wasp nests, spiderwebs in and out of the home, and not the cleanest or most maintained overall. We very much enjoyed our stay and if the owners invested more time into maintaining the inside and out this could be an incredible getaway for families. I have one kid with arachnophobia, so the spider webs were an issue for us personally.

The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We loved the scenery from the patio of the lake. The house is in a convenient location and it is close to several main attractions in the area. The pictures on the listing are accurate and my daughter loved the artwork on the walls and she got some good pictures with it. If I travel back to the area I will be booking here again. Remember to bring extra towels/washcloths. We had to go and get a few but we had to go out for beach towels anyway.

Large home accommodated our group nicely. One suggestion would be to put on window coverings for privacy and have wine glasses.

This was our second year in a row that I rented the place. My nieces live up by there. One graduated last year. One graduated this year. The place was simply amazing. There was a lot to do. It was big enough to host guests. I would recommend this place to anyone. Whether it’s with friends or family. I had both there. It did not disappoint either time. The pool was great, the games were great, the house overall was great.

Christy's house was absolutely breathtaking. She allow me to rent her house for the weekend to celebrate my daughter's graduation. It was the perfect scenery and just what was beyond what was expected. The house from inside out was fabulous. I do very nice Airbnb's often for my family but all has individually stated that this home was by far the best and would love to have this home again. The pool was great. We fished, we grilled and the kids played in a spacious yard. Might I also add that the neighbors are wonderful. Thank you Christy for hosting us in your home. Everything was perfect! If I had one thing to change, that would be booking a longer stay.

My sister and I stayed at the cabin for a reunion with our third sister living in Keystone. We especially appreciated the beautiful lake views from the porch, the quiet setting, the several conversation spaces inside and out. Everything we could possibly need was provided including a Keurig coffee maker and a welcome gift basket. I personally loved kayaking with life jacket provided and the outdoor shower with its instant hot water! Thank you for all the thoughtful and decorative touches that made us feel so at home together again.

Charlene was an excellent host with very quick response times! Check in was a breeze. The home itself was very clean, organized and so roomy! We had a group of 7 and could have comfortably fit many more. We all felt right at home. Beds were very comfortable. The view of the lake was breathtaking and we enjoyed cups of coffee on the huge porch every morning while looking out at the view. The location is quiet and peaceful. Only 20-30 mins from local restaurants and stores. Will certainly stay here again as this place has so much to offer for an affordable price. This is the perfect place for a quiet getaway!

Worth every penny. I came here to decompress from how stressful work has been and also mend a broken heart and could not have picked a better location. Peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what I needed. Elizabeth was so kind and responsive with anything I needed too and the neighbors were polite and all kept to themselves. I would love to return.

We live in an RV fulltime and my husband had knee replacement surgery and needed a more accommodating place to recover for a couple of weeks that was located in close proximity of our residence in order for us to check up on our other pets and maintain our garden while we were away. This was perfect! The Klare Kottage was private, peaceful,clean and locatex in a nice neighborhood. It had a beautiful view of the lake that my husband could see right out the front windows while he recovered and provided fishing,kayaking or sunset/sunrise views for me to enjoy and keep entertained while he rested. Having a place to stay that our dog was able to be with us and was more safely accessible than our current residence was a HUGE relief and made an already stressful event more bearable and accelerated his post operative recovery progress exponentially. We will definately return if temporary accommodations are needed in the future while we are at base camp versus seasonal traveling. Many thanks!

We had a great stay! The lake view and porch were very relaxing. The dirt road was fine for my in-laws Prius and we had great internet the whole time in the cabin. There is no shower in the upstairs bathroom, but the tub was nice to bathe our child in. Overall the location was perfect for our needs as we have family in the area. Will be staying again. Gi was a very helpful and friendly host who responded quickly any time we needed something.

Dawn is amazing! This was our second time staying here, and we have already booked it again. Her family also took the time to take us for a boat ride, and took my kids tubing, genuinely kind people. The lake could not be more beautiful. The house has a wonderful beach(this is not very common in Keystone Lakes), and my girls spent hours fishing and swimming. Highly recommend!
