Come enjoy your own space at your own pace, directly on Kerr Lake. Quaint two bdrm/1 bath house on the Lake. 90 minutes from Raleigh or Richmond. This charming home, sleeps five, and is just steps to the dock which you can tie your boat up to. Longwood State Park is the closest boat ramp, and a mere 10 minute boat ride from there. The sunlit cottage is perfect place to enjoy the largest lake in Virginia, exploring nearby state parks, the quaint town of Clarksville, or nearby breweries/wineries. The cottage offers an open view of the lake and use of a dock (150 yds from house) for fishing, swiming, docking watercraft or watching the sunset. A great retreat for a small family of 4 or 2 couples. Please indicate the number of guests; parties over 4 must be pre-approved. Reservation must be by an adult (age 21+).

Buggs Island Bungalow One of the oldest residences in Clarksville, the house dates back to the 1800's. We purchased it in 2019 and have lovingly renovated the space and returned it to its former glory. Enjoy all the amenities Clarksville has to offer. Enjoy morning coffee on the screened porch and then stroll to the lake or downtown for antique shopping, and then enjoy a brew at Buggs Island Brewing Company. Please note due to parking constraints we cannot accommodate boat parking.

This stay felt less like an AirBNB, more like a well appointed inn. The decor was refreshing and thoughtful, even specific to the season. The home was in immaculate condition, and we were impressed with the quality linens and bath/shower products. It’s in an ideal location to walk anywhere in town you’d like to go. Will definitely stay again!

I stayed at Anabela’s cottage for a 12 week clinical rotation and it was perfect! Not only was the house itself everything that I needed, Anabela was wonderful. She regularly checked in on me and made sure I had everything that I needed to be comfortable. Given my long-term stay, I had family and friends that wanted to visit me and Anabela offered up her other properties next door for them to stay in — free! She is a wonderful hostess and certainly has the gift of hospitality. It was a blessing to have her as my host for 12 weeks and I’m happy to now call her my friend.

The facility was great. It was very clean and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful. The owner said we were welcome to pick fresh blueberries. Games were provided. There are ample TV’s. Be sure to bring a firestick or electronic device to better navigate your viewing enjoyment. The view from the deck is amazing. It is certainly a place I would recommend and stay again myself.
