The Pohutukawa Cottage...Tranquil and Unusual

Quirky cottage completely renovated using as many recycled materials as possible with some special touches. Recycled materials were used from The Art Deco Mayfair threatre in Kaikoura. Also materials used from The Adelphi Hotel built in 1918. Kitchen custom made out of recycled cross arms off power polls and various other native timbers. This home offers stunning Mountain and Beach views. Dolphins and seals often cruise past along the coast. The occasional whale can also be spotted for those with an eagle eye. Nestled right next to the beach with private access and still very central to Kaikōura. Please keep in mind this home is a classic kiwi bach that comes with some character and usual wear and tear with Bach style accomodation. Priceless ocean and mountain views. Our house is situated opposite the Pacific Ocean. We would like to share our own Kaikoura holiday home with you. Our holiday home is just an ordinary, basic house but we have extraordinary views! Just 15 minutes walk to town or 2 minutes drive.
