Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

The most beautiful view of Como Lake

We are in Brunate, a small village on the mountains overlooking Como Lake. The house borders the forest, and often - in the evening or early in the morning - you can see animals in the garden. If you are interested in a jet boat ride, you have only to ask. I will be happy to accompany you to discover the most beautiful lake's villas. And if you don't know what to expect, ask George (Clooney) for some suggestions. I am a sommelier, and I can also organize a tasting of Italian wines for you!

Elisa’s place is a real gem. The flat is super cozy, spotless, and the view on the lake is honestly breathtaking—every time you look out the window, it leaves you speechless. I’m genuinely surprised she offers such a view at this price! Elisa was also incredibly accommodating, adapting to our schedule and even offering us extra time for check-out for free (which is honestly so rare and wholesome). Great place to stay in Lake Como area. walkable to all attractions, restaurants, very nice apartment, super clean. Dani (host) is very responsive to any concerns. Had an issue with the AC the day we arrived, Dani did everything possible to resolve the issue - he sent technicians to resolve the issue though it was after hours and late. was available via phone and ensured we got it resolved. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to stay with family in Lake Como area. Train station is 15 - 20 mins walk and easy to get back and forth with light luggage.

Sehr schön eingerichtete, geräumige Wohnung Die Wohnung ist weiter oben, zu Fuß gut erreichbar, wenn man fit ist. Ansonsten auch mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Gastgeber hat immer sehr schnell auf alles reagiert und uns einen früheren Check-In ermöglicht. Preis-Leistung top, nichts zu bemängeln 👍🏼

Superb location right near the center of Como and the water where all the activities are. The parking was very convenient and we were able to use the spot arriving early in the city. Donatella was very responsive and the apartment was spacious and clean. Would certainly book again if we're back in town and would recommend this place to others.

Mario ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und bietet viel Privatsphäre auch wenn man mit mehreren Reisenden unterwegs ist. Der Garten ist wunderschön und die Aussicht wirklich toll. Die Seilbahn nach Como ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuss gut erreichbar und der Ausblick auf Como am Abend ist toll.
