Family-friendly vacation rentals in City of London

Our one week stay at the Hummingbird gave us the opportunity to explore different areas of London. Busses pass in front of the property making a convenient way to get around London. Restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. The neighborhood is gorgeous. VanZyl was quick to respond to our messages. The link to an app for the property gave us all of the instructions for checking, appliance use, key location, etc. I would recommend this property.

We loved our stay at Pablo’s place. Lots of space for the family to relax and recharge for sightseeing! Pablo was a fantastic host.

Great London guides and maps available for use during our stay. We stayed 3 weeks and the place was cleaned every Wednesday. Paddington tube and railway station very close by. Take the canal boat trip from near the apartment to Camden Lock for a fun day. Good hot water and pressure in shower.

Impeccable communication and flexibility with superhost Rafa, top location to go and explore East-London as if you are a local, though quiet for a good night sleep in a comfy bed, and superclean! What you see is what you get, and more!

I could not recommend this stylish home enough. Homely, chic and charming where we immediately knew we were going to enjoy our week of stay upon entering. Little touches like fresh flowers in crystal vases added a welcome ambience. Co host Yvonne went well and above to ensure that we had a fabulous, relaxing stay and met us upon check in which we were grateful for. The private courtyard was a pleasure to use and an oasis after full days of explorations. The antique furniture pieces mixed with beautiful art pieces ensures this is one memorable home to enjoy. In close proximity to the Sloane Square tube and Chelsea High St means that that this home is worth every cent. I can truly recommend staying here and hope to return one day.

We had a wonderful stay at Jennie's place! There was plenty of space for the three of us, with two in the bedroom and one on the (very comfortable) sofa bed. All essentials provided and clear communications with the host. Exceeded expectations. Jennie's place is beautifully appointed and is very convenient for getting into London. Regular buses directly to Trafalgar Square (for the West End), 25-minute walk to Kings Cross, and a tube station right on the doorstep! Overall, we had a fabulous stay and would gladly stay in Jennie's flat again. 😃

Sharon’s place was fantastic, it really was a home away from home. It was in a great location near transport but also great pubs, cafes and also within walking distance of the gorgeous Notting Hill ✨

The location is great! Bus stop and tube station at walking distance. Tower Bridge and other attractions are also a short walk away. The studio had everything one would need for the stay.

Lovely place with a wonderful view !

Really enjoyed my stay here. Was my first time traveling solo and this was the perfect spot for my first time. Flat was a pleasant 10 minute walk from the closet tube station. The flat was clean and had beautiful plants to look at. Sharon was attentive and gave fast responses when needed. Highly recommend staying here!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The Airbnb was clean and cozy. It was the perfect central location in London as it facilitated easy travel to and from the tube, close to key attractions and restaurants/pubs etc. Mark was communicative and checked in to ensure all was well and was available in the event we had questions. I would recommend his Airbnb.

My husband and I loved our stay. Hampstead Heath is a stones throw from this property whilst the high street was just a 12 minute walk the other way. There are wonderful shops, restaurants and great access to the underground. It felt like we weren’t really part of London any longer even though the tube connects back quickly. We ate at Oliviya twice, a wonderful Lebanese restaurant with excellent food and friendly staff. Another meal at Mimmo La Bufala was also excellent. Get the chili oil with bread! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bohemian Rhapsody and highly recommend!

On top of genuinely getting what's in the description, which is already pretty decent, and a responsive host ready to adjust checkin and checkout times for my convenience, the showering facilities are worth mentioning. a decent shower pressure and hot water temperature is not guaranteed, so it got my attention. Also, amazing towels! I am sure I will be back.

Goran was very friendly and kind, with a lot of information about food places to eat. He was flexible with our check in time when we arrived early, and came over quickly to respond to a minor issue with the water heater. All in all a great host. We loved staying at the apartment.

Our family of three had a great stay at Gabriel’s flat over 2024 holiday week. The flat is perfectly located, spacious, clean and beautiful. Photo depictions are accurate. The flat faces the rear so is very quiet. It overlooks a church yard that provides a scenic view. It is next to the charming Seven Dials/Neals Yard area and very convenient to West End theatres, tube and all sights. Gabriel and his friend Dean, who checked us in, were responsive and flexible. We were happy to find bottles of water, breakfast foods, and snacks that made our stay so much easier. In all, we could not have had a better experience!

Rich has such a gorgeous flat!! He clearly takes pride in the decor and artwork and his love for the space really shines through. You feel so at home in the best way. The location also could not be beat! So close to the tube and walkable to Buckingham palace and loads of other sight seeing spots. The lift is so helpful, shower pressure perfect, terrace is so glam, beds so SO comfy. Highly highly recommend!!

This is the most beautiful apartment. So clean and fresh and not a single thing I could fault about it. We had a great stay, very comfortable and safe. The parking is easy and an added bonus, the apartment is exactly as the pictures and of very high quality. The welcome supplies were very much appreciated after a long journey. We didn’t eat locally as we were visiting my daughter in nearby Surbiton, but there are many places to eat and drink on the doorstep. We had a wonderful stay. Book with confidence. We had a fantastic stay at this flat in London! The location was absolutely perfect—central and within easy reach of all the major sights, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The flat itself was lovely: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. Our host truly went above and beyond. She welcomed us with snacks and sparkling wine, which was such a treat after a long overnight flight. She also accommodated an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Her local recommendations and tips for things to do in London were incredibly helpful and made our visit even more enjoyable. The neighborhood was charming and full of character, with plenty of cozy pubs, well-stocked grocery stores, and friendly wine shops all just a short walk away. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely book again!

Flat is lovely, very well equipped and location couldn’t be more perfect if you want to have a taste of what would feel like to live in London! We loved every bit of our stay!

5/5 great place for our trip. For our annual boys trip we had picked Marcus’ listing. Even from the time of booking he was extremely helpful and had great communication. Upon our arrival he was waiting for us at check in and gave great local recommendations. Being our first time in the UK he was even helpful with providing answers to random questions we may have had. Very clean home and a great place to relax after sight seeing all day. All in all the best Airbnb location I’ve stayed at over my years of travel and hope I get to again one day. Thank you Marcus!
