I really appreciated the host putting so much love and attention into the house. It really was perfect! After traveling the whole world, this is by far one the most beautiful beaches I have seen. You can see the sea lions from the bedroom window and on a short walk I saw a penguin. While there are little houses next to the property, the neighbors are seldom there. I stayed for a month and saw people maybe two or three times. The rest of the time it felt extremely private. The house is about 25min drive on an unpaved road from Milton. A super tiny town. So if you want to get away, this is the place. What a hidden gem! Super recommended.

Greg is an amazing host who helped us feel right at home from the get go. We’ll surely be missing his warm hospitality, beautiful home, and adorable animals in the days to come. We hope to stay at Greg’s home again if we get to return to Dunedin someday.

Carlee's place is a must try! We were greeted by the animals and then a mini personalized welcome msg as we enter the cottage. The cottage is very clean and super comfortable. Heaters in the toilet and living room were very on point. Kept us warm and cozy! The bread, honey, fruit and breakfast options were a lovely bonus. You could see the sunrise from the rooms, and starry skies at night. Carlee was also incredibly responsive and helpful and so was her daughter who brought us around the farm to feed the animals. The animals were so adorable! We had a blast! We really could not recommend this spot more!
