Beautiful property, clean and comfortable. Provided all the essentials. Check in was super easy and Jane was lovely to deal with during the booking process when I had questions. Would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area, we loved it.

2 Bed Victorian House in Crewe

WillRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed for a month, and it was perfect. Plenty of space to make ourselves at home, but with enough homely touches (including one of the most impressive book collections I've seen) to not feel like we were living in an empty shell. The location is okay; the lovely sound of birds at the back makes up for the sound of cars at the front. Close enough to walk to a supermarket and there is a beautiful park nearby. Didn't need much more than that. A couple of issues that arose with the house, nothing major, but Nick (and his mum) was super responsive and helpful. All in all, great stay.
A compact kitchen area features light-colored cabinetry with a built-in washing machine. Stainless steel kitchen sink and microwave are included, along with essential appliances like a toaster and kettle. Exposed wooden beams are visible above, adding character to the space.

Narrowboat Cottage

The three of us stayed here for five nights as it was the perfect base for visiting Alton Towers, Blackpool, and other attractions nearby. The house was comfortable, well presented and had all the amenities we needed. We made use of the sofa bed in the living room. It can be a little cramped with it out, but it served its purpose well for us. There was always parking available in front of the house on the street. It was very quiet and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. We especially enjoyed being next to the canal and found nice walks by walking both directions of it. One side has a golf course with a very good restaurant and bar within 5 minutes, the other has a restaurant and pub with a 20 minute’s walk. I recommend keeping some bread to hand for the ducks.

Berta and Aidan were both friendly hosts, helping with flexible check in and lots of recommendations about the local area I'd have otherwise missed. They definitely enhanced my trip, and gave me a few really good suggestions. I'd happily stay again in future.
