Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Chippewa County

Great spot, clean, and easy check-in. Beds/pillows in all of the rooms were super comfortable memory foam. Ice fishing was slow (likely due to the weather…single digits and high wind), but time spent in the cottage with family was great.

i wanted to find a beautiful little house to stay in for my best friend’s bachelorette weekend, and this stunning home was PERFECT! we walked in and were immediately obsessed. the decor truly made it the most welcoming and homey feeling air bnb i’ve ever stayed in! the whole house gets engulfed in gorgeous sunlight during the day adding to the cozy feel. on day 2 we walked down to the beach and explored for a while, which was beautiful and so cool! we also visited mackinac island and getting to the ferry was so easy and it was a great day! for most of us, it was our first time on the island! our stay truly made my bestie’s bachelorette trip amazing and even better than i could have imagined! Eliška is super communicative and was ready to answer any questions i had. thank you so much for letting us use your space for such a special weekend!!! 🤍✨

We really enjoyed our time here! The space was just as described and pictured. It was very well appointed. My daughter, couple friends and I enjoyed playing board games that were available. The kitchen was really well equipped as we made a couple dinners while we were there. The location was an easy drive or walk to downtown St. Ignace and the ferry to get to Mackinac Island. Would definitely stay there again when we are in the area again! And thanks for the bottle of Michigan wine. It was a happy surprise after a long day of driving!

It is the perfect vacation place. This place has direct lake access with scenic peaceful surroundings. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cherished each moment we spent. Barbara's place feels like home with thoughtful attention to details. Especially if you are traveling with a big group or kids, she has provided enough toys and supplies like kitchen/bath towel, coffee etc. Highly recommended Just one thing to mention, the King bed is on a lofted bedroom which does not have four wall enclosure like regular rooms. I think this is a Michigan architecture style and looking carefully at the pictures you can easily figure it out. So something to be careful about for a big group

Staying here was truly relaxing. We felt like we were actually able to unplug and get away. The property is absolutely beautiful and so fun to explore. This place made our trip to the U.P. extra special. We would happily visit again.

Great place to stay! Host was kind and responsive, and the location was perfect - right off the lake! The home was very cozy and comfortable, and close to everything.

My family had a fantastic stay here! The location is AMAZING. You really can’t beat the distance to the ferry if you’re planning to go to Mackinac island, it’s truly down the street to the ferry station, not even a 5 minute walk. There’s also a fascinating Ojibwa museum next door and an ice cream place within walking distance for more fun activities in the area. The host Oxana was very nice and responsive, and the airbnb looks exactly like the pictures! The pull out couch is also very comfortable. Would love to visit again! :)

We had another stay booked that didn’t meet expectations. Found Allen’s place and it was perfect. This place has everything anyone staying would need. They have everything you can think of extras of everything you cannot think of. Great stay and wonderful hospitality.

This place was wonderful! It’s easy to feel right at home and its location is perfect! There are food places that are walkable and is near a dollar general for any last minute snacks or other needs. It’s also incredibly close to a ferry that takes you to Mackinac Island so there’s no need to pay extra for parking. The place is clean and comfortable after a long day of fun!

Really loved the setup with a patio walkout onto the beach and the sunrise in the morning over the lake was glorious. Very close to the ferry and loved the convenience. Great place.

It was definitely interesting staying in the basement of a scooter rental but it was a great experience! It is within walking distance to all the ferries and downtown Mackinaw City. George was very responsive as well. I would definitely recommend this AirB&B!

Charming and Cozy in an amazing location! I plan to return in the summer and enjoy the beach, fire pit, rockhounding, watching the freighters and exploring. The location is a great launching point for many day trips within an hour or two of the cabin. And the beach access really is steps away from the door! We played outside all day and then played Catan and Uno at night. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is an entertainment center set up with Roku and a dvd player with movies and some games. The beds were both very comfortable with quality linens and blankets and great pillows. The porch is darling, birdfeeders all around and lanterns and lights for night. Kelly was the perfect host, very quick to respond, knowledgeable of the area, and a pleasure to communicate with! I highly recommend this cabin for one or two people. Perfect for a cozy getaway, beach fun and day trips. You won’t be disappointed!!!

My girlfriend and I loved the little cabin, it was a perfect location with lots to do just minutes away!

It was everything we wanted and more. Very private and peaceful. Got to see a jack rabbit and a river otter come up the stream. Dont forget your bug spray and found many woodticks.

This place couldn't be any more perfect if we had owned and decorated it ourselves. Everything we could hope to have for our stay was there. From the plentiful kitchen of glasses, pots, pans, bowls, etc., to the blankets in the living room, games, emergency kit, brochure and highlights board, books, etc. This place was amazing. Best Airbnb we've ever stayed at.

Karin, Opie (our dog), and I had a very nice stay at Mackinac Vista. The house was comfortable, with peaceful surroundings just beyond the back deck. We were able to watch a quiet sunset over Lake Huron, which made for a pleasant evening. The beach behind the yard is rocky and secluded—perfect for a quiet retreat. Be sure to bring your rock painting supplies, as the cabin features a collection of painted rocks left by past guests. Although we didn't take advantage of it, the fire pit and outdoor furniture made it easy to enjoy the peaceful outdoor setting. I also took advantage of the many mountain and road biking opportunities in the area. The grocery store in nearby Cedarville was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay.

Another great stay at the Crow's Nest! Cozy and peaceful accommodations, and a responsive, nearby (but not intrusive) host - who could ask for more? The location makes a great starting point for a lot of our favorite eastern UP destinations. The close proximity to the Dancing Crane Coffee House is a big plus! But it's also possible to simply walk over to hiking trails in the Hiawatha National Forest. We'll have to come back in the summer some time so we can swim!

Book it!!!! This place was amazing! So charming, cozy, & quiet. Being right on the lake was amazing. The back deck was spacious and welcoming. The space was so clean and we felt right at home. Quick travels to the ferry for Mackinac Island and Sault St. Marie! Thank you Ryan! We will be returning!
