Cottage vacation rentals in China

Spent quite a while here for work and saw winter turn to spring. What an amazing place to stay! Right on the water, great views, and it’s so peaceful. Thanks Craig for being so flexible! Everything was up to par and then some. I hope to come back in the summer sometime and enjoy it again!

We stayed here our last night while visiting Acadia. Super cute little cabin! We loved that they had a common space in the main house that was full of supplies and very welcoming. Would stay here again!

The bungalow is cozy and comfortable. We throughly enjoyed the walk through the woods and sauna. Mayya goes above and beyond as a host! She is extremely kind and attentive. Highly recommend!

Adorable cottage, newly renovated. Perfect for two with an open space loft for one more. Kitchen is well stocked right down to the coffee. A good location if visiting Fort Knox, Mt. Barrie and not too far from Bar Harbor if that is on your list. Great stay, highly recommend. Beautiful view and private.

Perfect for what we needed for a weekend getaway. So peaceful and a lot of interesting wildlife. We saw so many different types of birds! The hot tub is spacious and easy to use.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs across the country and I’m not exaggerating when I say that Lydia’s place was one of the cleanest and most well-maintained homes that we’ve been in. The property and scenery are breathtaking. The numbers of birds and chipmunks that entertained us while we sat on the back deck was surprising. We ate all of our meals with the exception of lunches at the cabin and had everything we needed to prep and cook our food. This trip was all about relaxing and Lydia’s home was everything we needed.

I spent a week at this beautiful little cabin with my two grandchildren. It was the perfect size and looks just as beautiful as the pictures inside and out. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beds were very comfortable. The lake can be seen from the cabin and we enjoyed the dock for fishing and watching the ducks. It’s very close to town for groceries etc but very quiet and peaceful on a dead end street. Jason was very welcoming and always available for questions and quick to respond. The only thing that would have made it better for my grandkids is if there was easier access for getting into the lake with a a little beach area or a lawn that went down to the water. But if you want a quiet get away in beautiful surroundings don’t hesitate.

We had a great stay! The house is very nice with a view of the bay and the screened in porch was an great place to be outside but away from the bugs. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet and the house had everything we needed with appropriate notes in all the right places.

This was our third stay! What a lovely place David has. Every stay gets better than the last, with David always updating and improving the property. The place is well stocked with everything you need. Plus a new clean sponge is provided! We were lucky it was available such short notice, we were at a different Airbnb that left us packing and looking for an alternative. David’s cottage stay saved our trip to Maine.

Jeff’s place stood out as a beautiful relaxing and peaceful location. The cottage was exactly what was advertised. Everything we needed was available to us. Felt like our cottage in NY. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would love to return. Response was great.

The Hermit Thrush House is cozy, charming, and quiet. I slept better than I have in a long time! Everything we needed was there. My mom and I visit MidCoast Maine every fall, and this was our first stay at the Hermit Thrush House. We picked a great place close to all the towns we love to visit. Very nice!

We loved staying at Ann's place! It was exactly what we wanted, close to town and to lots of activities but also felt remote and in a really gorgeous location. Great, rustic spot.

Cute and cozy for the two of us on a rainy weekend. Excellent view. Quite a bit of road noise from Route 1. Very comfortable bed and living room. Doing a puzzle at the table overlooking the water and exploring the fort. Wiscassett is cute!

Erik and Amy were behind the scenes hosts, having everything ready for us, leaving wonderful directions and creating such unique cabins and a peaceful setting. Although we only saw Amy once when she was mowing grass we knew we could call or text them any time if there were questions or concerns (which there were none). It was a perfect location for a quick long weekend get-away. We will definitely plan on stayin here again!!

This was a wonderful place to have 4 adults and 3 children 4 and under. The deck was awesome and the walk to the water was nice, with a large flat area for the kids to run and play. The house was clean and had everything we needed, although it was hard to find the corkscrew -top shelf with the glasses in a wooden box! Michelle and Mickey were very responsive when we had a couple questions. There is a small beach entry, which was perfect. Plenty of seating. The washer and dryer were like new and easy to use! We all agreed we would rent again on our next visit to China.

Very peaceful, quiet and tranquil location on the pond. House was very clean, fully stocked kitchen, great amenities and a very comfortable bed. Even left us a case of water and a Smores kit. Any questions I had were answered within minutes

Great house and wonderful outdoor space! We were comfortable here, and the dogs loved running around in the yard. The host was friendly and responsive, we’d definitely stay here again.

Robert was an amazing host! Super kind and helpful from the beginning till the end. The house was just perfect,so cozy, peaceful, and full of thoughtful little touches. Everything was exactly as described (maybe even better!). We felt at home the moment we walked in and didn’t even notice how fast 10 days flew by. It will always be a special memory for us. Mark’s cottage was great, stocked with everything you need to cook, lots of extra pillow and blanket. Patio with table and chair along with a new grill, fire place at the water with chairs. Great internet if you are “working” from home. The water is just a few feet from the patio. I would definitely stay again!!!

Very peaceful location, cozy feeling home with a great view of the lake and easy access, plenty of of space for dogs to roam around, Makenzie was very responsive and even brought us an AC day of check-in in a very timely manner! We will be back again for sure!

I have zero complaints about Gordon's home. Everything was accurately described and the property was beautiful! it is right on the pond and the pictures do it justice. Yes, it's a little small and gets cold in the winter but it's worth it if you want to stay somewhere pretty without breaking the bank. Also, he has 3 heaters. We didn't leave them on because we were gone a lot of the time but it probably would have stayed warm if we did. This is really a great property for a couple! Highly recommended.
