The Thunderbird tiny house is located on the Thunderbird Ranch about 13 miles west of Mountainair, New Mexico. We are surrounded by the Cibola National Forest on all four sides. The property is owned by the Wester's and has been in their family for almost a hundred years. We also have other vacation homes for rent so if you want to bring another family we can accommodate that. This house is off the grid so we've got to be careful not to use too much electricity cannot run do not run hair Dryer

Lacy was a fantastic host and her property was gorgeous. The property felt private and safe which was a priority. We had no issues with getting in and out of the house. We enjoyed the little yard space and all of the wildlife in the area. The house itself was very clean and genuinely adorable. It was the perfect stay for our short little trip to Albuquerque!

Such a wonderful mountain getaway! I grew up in the area so it felt amazing to be able to stay so nearby to all my memories. The bed was very comfortable and the window overhead was an amazing feature. Shower was comfortable enough for a 6’3” man and most of the areas while small were not too uncomfortable. Definitely would love to stay here again.

What can I say about this place aside from how wonderful it was to stay here? My children and I had the best time hanging in the spa, listening to music on the house speakers, and enjoying a break from our every day lives. Phil made us feel right at home, and my kiddos had a blast! Would definitely come back to enjoy the beautiful space Phil has created.
