Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Chester

Lovely hidden gem! Tucked away but so close to everything, we loved staying here. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 bigger kids. Beautifully decorated and furnished with lots of additional touches like the very thoughtful welcome basket - very much appreciated. River views are beautiful, especially from the balcony on a sunny morning. We loved our daily wander into Chester via Grosvenor Park or by the river for a slightly longer a scenic route. Jaunty Goat was a favourite for breakfast, and we wandered round the walls to The Architect pub for a nice drink, but so many options within the city. Super handy Waitrose is just across the road. We even managed to tuck our fairly big car into the parking space (we were warned it was tight but it was totally fine with a bit of mirror manoeuvring). Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Emma's accomodation celebrating a hen do and catching up with friends we haven't seen for 10 years. It was ideal location, beautifully decorated, couldn't have been more perfect! thankyou!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Chester. The house was in an ideal place making it extremely easy to walk to everything we wanted to see and visit. Inside the house is a delight, stunning decor, lots of room, and that bed! We'll definitely be back next year. Thank you for the best Air BnB we have ever stayed in...

Fabulous 2 night, weekend stay for 5 adults. Location was perfect for Chester city centre and racecourse. We parked 2 cars in the drive and 1 in front of the drive. Downstairs space was very large, plenty of sofas/chairs in the lounge and a large kitchen diner. Kitchen had a great supply of equipment, utensils and equipment. 3 upstairs bedrooms and 1 bathroom and the bonus of a downstairs shower room and toilet. Small decking outside and seating for 4, we brought a 5th seat and sat in the afternoon sun. Excellent Chinese takeaway Wing Wah 6 minutes walk, lovely meal at the Ship Inn 10 minutes walk. Very close to Chester city centre. We would highly recommend and would stay again.

Enjoyed our stay so much, such a beautiful house and area. Resturants/shops not too far from the house too, which made the experience more relaxing as there wasn't a lot of extra travel needed during our stay, definitely would recommend going to the Maiden Castle during your stay too.

Joshua's place was fantastic. Very clean and tidy. Nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. I can't say enough good things about this space and the host. The location was perfect with an easy walk to within the walls. We never struggled to find parking (which had been a worry - but it was not a problem in the end). Great stay and highly recommended!

We had booked a 2 night stay and almost immediately decided we wished we had booked longer. The property was amazing and very thoughtfully furnished with great little touches, kitchen very well stocked with equipment, various books available and family games. Lovely garden, shame it rained throughout our stay. Check in and out very easy. We will be back to stay at this lovely property.

as described already a perfect stay for those who seek to visit Chester and surrounding. apartment is just around heart of the chester. walkable to almost all heritage and market great stay and will stay and recommend in future. Stephen and ShukTing always responsive. apartment was clean and tidy. great place to stay.

Lovely little place in a great location for the forest concerts. The place was as described with everything we needed in the grounds of a beautiful home. Comfy bed. Sarah responded promptly when asking questions and check in and out was smooth

We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The location is great - the city centre is almost on the doorstep, but the apartment was very quiet. The whole place was absolutely spotless, very well equipped and comfortable. The parking space was a bonus, we didn't need the car at all. The tasty treats were a nice touch, but by the time we had chomped our way round the great coffee shops and restaurants in Chester we were a bit too full! There are so many place to explore and the cathedral is awe inspiring, well worth a visit. Mark and Helen have been great hosts, we would definitely recommend this place.

The apartment is a gem — a beautifully arranged basement within the family's main house. It's tastefully decorated, really comfortable and cozy; we felt completely at home. Corinne was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The location is very practical: in a quiet suburb but extremely well connected to the center of Liverpool by public transport. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Sally has done an amazing job with this conversion. It’s very tastefully decorated and has everything you could need. Wish I could have stayed for longer!

Nicolas was a wonderful and very helpful host. He greeted us on time and with great courtesy, and we truly appreciated his flexibility with our arrival time. The apartment was exactly what we needed—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The bed was especially comfortable, and we slept very well. The location couldn’t have been better—close to both the bus and train stations, which made getting around super easy. At the same time, it’s in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, we were really happy with our stay and would gladly book again if we get the chance.

I live on an Island off the West Coast of Canada. It takes 2 days + to get to Chester UK. I knew communication was going to be spotty at best so I asked for check-in details prior to departure. They never came. I arrived at the apartment after 2 days of traveling unable to gain access. Because of sim card issues I could not 'phone for access details. Suggest you waive the 24 hour access check-in under certain circumstances.

I felt right at home. The decor was modern and fresh. The cleanest I've ever seen. What I liked : own front door to outdoors, big new TV, good internet, comfortable bed and milk, tea, coffee, and health bars. The host even offered to make me a sandwich as I had missed lunch. If I ever come to the Wirral again, this is where I will stay.

Great place to stay. 10 minute walk into the city centre. the apartment felt a lot bigger and more spacious than we expected. we had 3 nights here and could easily have stayed longer. a lovely home away from home

We had a wonderful time in Chester. The apartment is a prime location referring accessibility, amenities and convenience. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable.
