Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Cheltenham

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Matthew and Jane's B&B. The location was peaceful with lovely views over the countryside and Matthew and Jane were friendly and attentive hosts. We were welcomed with hot drinks on arrival which was lovely after a long drive. Making arrangements to arrive was easy with good, clear communication from Jane. Every room was spotless and tidy and the beds were comfortable with quality mattresses, pillows and sheets. Breakfast was delcious and Jane was keen to ensure we all had a breakfast we would enjoy with options to choose from. We would definitely stay again. Thank you both.

Thank you Richard and Sacha for a fantastic stay. We stayed in the Tudor Barn family room which was delightful, really spacious, clean and the amenities provided were an added bonus. Richard and Sacha were both so welcoming and friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. Really responsive on the app and a pleasure to meet. Hopefully will return one day, thank you again!

Fran and Pete were wonderful hosts. Accommodating and welcoming throughout our stay. They responded to all our questions and messages quickly and were really informative. The house is a lovely and cosy place to stay and we all felt really at home.

Mandy provides a welcoming stay in her charming, characterful regency house. As a professional chef, Mandy provided a delicious supper party for my friends and her breakfast comprises a fabulous selection. Finally, Mandy has consummate hosting skills and I highly recommend her facilities based on my experience of staying with her.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Susan’s B and B. It was very special for our party of three sisters and two second cousins from the States who came to England to visit our family roots. Our great grandfather grew up in Ullingswick, emigrating in the late 1800’s to the American wild west. His brother lived in the house which is now the B and B. Pre-trip communication with Susan was so warm, and welcoming that I felt we would we would be treated like true houseguests ( and I imagine all her guests may feel that way.) A few days before our arrival Susan unfortunately ended up in the hospital due to an accident. She could have cancelled our reservation, but her son and his partner stepped in and did a fabulous job of hosting—attending to all our needs, providing tea in the garden, cooking full English breakfast, and even giving a couple of us a lift to the nearby pub (The Three Horseshoes which has fabulous food!) Our stay was the highlight of the entire trip.

Annie is a very welcoming host who makes you feel at home immediately. The room is in a lovely peaceful spot down a lane but within a 15 minute walk to a lovely pub with food. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for peace and quiet but also close enough to towns for amenities.

We really enjoyed our time at Fosse Farmhouse. We found it very interesting and strategically located. Carol was very friendly, she very kindly explained us her unique story and gave us lot of beautiful recommendations to visit around. She was amenable to a vegan breakfast.

A beautiful tudor house packed full of character, traditional features, uneven floors and massive beams. Lovely warm and cosy room with comfy bed and ensuite. Loads of things for breakfast too. Sharon was very relaxed and welcoming and advised on the best places to walk the dog. Definitely one of the most enjoyable Airbnb stays I have had.

Excellent hosts, friendly and responsive. There are two good en-suite rooms available with a large shared living room in a building linked to the main house. Tasty, hearty cooked breakfasts are a must. The property is a working farm with peaceful, rural views towards Sudeley Castle and Winchcombe. Seeing the piglets was a treat!

We had a great one night stay with Judy in her lovely home which is about 10/15 minutes walk from the centre of Chipping Norton. She was a welcoming host - helpful and knowledgeable about the area and very interesting to talk to as well. Oh, and the breakfast was great too! We’d definitely recommend!

My partner and I stayed at Hampton Mere for a couple of nights, as we were attending a wedding at Bredenbury Court Barns down the road. All we can say is WOW! The converted barn we stayed in was so charming and charactful - Heather gave us the full tour, including the grounds which surrounded the idyllic barn. We were taken round and saw the beautiful flowers, the animals and the amazing Herefordshire brick, and what Heather and Paul had done for the upkeep of their home. Paul cooked us an amazing breakfast on both mornings, with fresh apple juice from their orchard, homemade jams and coffee. Both Heather and Paul were very friendly and made us feel welcome in their cosy home. It was my partner’s birthday on one of the days, and they even greeted him with balloons and a gift. We would (and already have) recommend anyone to stay at Hampton Mere for a peaceful Herefordshire weekend getaway! Thank you both for an amazing stay, we can’t wait to come back!

She was very kind and always make sure everything is alright. Feels like i am in my home very calm and quiet place without any disturbance. Diana is a lovely host may God bless her abundantly ♥️

Just beautiful, perfect hospitality and such a great location. Our host Vida ensured everything was taken care of and made sure our room was comfortable and our stay memorable . Would definitely recommend the Old Vicarage to anyone wanting to experience the Cotswolds, just the perfect place.

Wonderful host, who couldn’t do enough. Very pro active on day of arrival with constant messaging regarding check in & local amenities available in the area. Room was well beyond expected, lovely double bedroom with selection of linen & pillows, bathroom was clean & tidy & on the larger side being within a fine Country residence, there was also a living room available for guests to relax in, loved the 2 resident dogs who were very friendly. I would certainly recommend Celia as a host with full confidence, she was a joy to meet.

A great little gem of a place. Room was exceptionally clean and well appointed . We had a room overlooking Main Street and was great to see the Christmas candle procession from the warmth of our room.

My stay with Mia was exactly what I needed! A lovely host and made me feel welcome and at home straight away. Couldn’t recommend more- will be re booking whenever I need a place to stay in the area :)

This was a real unexpected pleasure. Dee's place was very simple, but oh, so relaxing. The pile of old Country Living magazines by the bed to read, the lovely warm bedroom with the bathroom opposite, just waiting for me to have a bath. There were lots of little sweet touches, and her breakfast was incredible - I just couldn't believe the amazing spread she put on when the cost of the room was so reasonable. Her hospitality was faultless - giving and responsive while also non-invasive. I slept like a log, and the following morning when I awoke in my own bed I felt a little sad that I couldn't go down the stairs to such a lovely breakfast again!

Lyn and John were fantastic hosts - being generous with lively conversation but also providing options for privacy as desired. I paid a reduced rate due to some regulars being out of town, but they are already providing an excellent value classic bed and breakfast service with homestay personal touches. Lyn offers a full cooked breakfast and cereals to all guests, but was happy to make adjustments to tastes and needs. John also makes a tasty coffee from the espresso machine. I would be glad to return if I am able to find a moment when they are not fully booked!

We would give 10 Stars- if possible :) We had a wonderful time at Arlene’s charming cottage in Lechlade, perfectly located for exploring the Cotswolds. The cottage is cozy, beautifully decorated, and spotless, with many thoughtful touches like bathrobes, slippers, a fridge, tea maker, and coffee machine – everything you need to feel right at home. The rose garden is absolutely lovely and adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was fantastic – generous, delicious, and prepared with so much care. Arlene is a truly lovely and welcoming host, and her little dog Daisy is simply adorable. We would love to come back – highly recommended!

Great stay - beautiful house and super hosts

Lovely home and wonderful host! Everything was perfect and just what we were looking for. We had a very relaxing time and really enjoyed our stay. The delicious breakfast was a great touch too. Jo is kind, friendly and helpful and her two golden retrievers are very friendly. We would highly recommend!

Ruth and Andy are perfectly lovely hosts: very friendly and welcoming. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in a long while and it was just a privilege to wake up to such a nice view of the Malvern hills. I highly recommend!

Sally was very warm and welcoming and on arrival, had a great conversation about travelling, sharing some stories of our adventures, which was lovely. I was then left to my own devices which I really appreciated after a busy day at work and I'll definitely be booking in again sometime.
