Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Cheat Lake

We had a great stay at Carmen’s place! While we spent much of the day out at the geocaching events and finding geocaches, it was nice to have a comfortable, fully-equipped place to come back to. We took turns cooking dinner and the weather cooperated enough for us to be able to enjoy the back patio a couple evenings. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back to visit the area.

Beautiful, quiet and clean house. Had everything you need. The chalkboard wall is a cute touch. Would definitely stay again.

The whole process was seamless. Great communication between us and the host, check-in was a breeze and it was exactly as advertised. Would stay here again.

Great vacation. Wendy was the best host we have ever had—responsive and generous. The house itself was one of the best stocked rentals we have ever been in. We loved the use of the kayaks and would absolutely come back to enjoy Alpine Lake here again. Very relaxed, friendly vibe within the whole community.

Boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were excellent. We really didn’t need anything but groceries and liquor :) The home had everything we needed (kitchen supplies including food containers, variety of seasonings, kcups, tea, keurig, hair dryer, washer/dryer) and didn’t think we needed (Qtips, hot tub towels, cleaning supplies, including laundry pods and dryer sheets, Netflix, Prime, grill accessories). The fully equipped kitchen, grill, and hot tub were bonus features for us. We will book again.

Abram and Nina are EXCELLENT hosts. the house was clean , organized and cozy. They were both incredibly responsive and attentive to all messages & problems. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a very comfortable stay overall. The proximity to Falling Water and Kentuck Knob was awesome. Also enjoyed hiking and dog walks in Ohiopyle state park.

Really great home, walkable to Hidden Valley in ski boots carrying skis. The house was just as described in the listing and photos were spot on. We chose this house because of the kids room, and it was terrific. Five kids slept there, played card games there, and ate in their own area while parents were able to enjoy ourselves in the kitchen and dining area. The mud room was a big win. When I had a question, the hosts were super fast to respond. The house overlooks the lake and the kids had a great time playing in the surrounds. The house has a large deck and a fire pit, but we did not use them due to weather. One thing to note: the steepness of the driveway should not be underestimated. In winter it will require a four or all wheel drive. I drove it easily, but one family could not get up it, and the other slid the entire way down sideways. That being said, the owners were quick to salt and cinder as necessary, and the neighbor helped us by plowing. Cannot recommend enough!

Was in WV for our daughters graduation in Morgantown from WVU was a little bit of a drive but it was a great fit for us and our group. Would definitely recommend and are considering going back for just vacation.

We had a great weekend staying in this Airbnb at Seven Springs. The place was very spacious, had lots to do (hot tub, ping pong table, firepit, grill, etc.) and loved the attention to detail. The hosts were very quick to respond as well. Will definitely be planning another stay here in the future!

Stayed at Brittney’s place for 3 nights, it’s a beautiful home, no problems she contacted us all throughout the stay. Close to resort, shuttle service, very neat and clean home. I would highly recommend if your goin g to seven springs, this is where you would want to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo! We loved how well stocked it was…. All paper products were provided, seasonings, and plenty of cooking utensils. Your place is lovely, decorated so nice. We enjoyed the back patio, so peaceful. Great location with the pool close by. It’s just a few steps to get the shuttle to the lodge. Thanks for sharing your place and hopefully we’ll be back again.

Darien’s place was perfect!! It was perfectly clean and beautiful. The house was very private and a beautiful place to stay. The host was very friendly and helpful for anything we needed. The stay was amazing!!

My boyfriend and I scheduled a little getaway to celebrate his birthday at Gene’s Airbnb. It was a great place to stay for a few days and with it being off season, was very quiet and peaceful! The place was very cozy feeling! We loved the sauna and jacuzzi. Gene was very proactive making sure we knew all the house information before our trip. I will definitely be staying here again!

A very cute and well designed cabin, perfect for a quiet weekend. Felt incredibly private. We appreciated the provided firewood and while we personally didn’t take advantage of any of the food stocked in the house, you’d be well taken care of if you got stuck there for a few extra days. Worth noting that the bed is actually a full size and not a queen as described in the listing, but everything else was as described.

Great location for our baseball tournament. Clean accurate description. Sam was very helpful, communicated extremely well throughout our stay.

We were looking for a unique place to celebrate our Anniversary. The tree house at Lambert Vineyards fit our needs and was within driving distance. This house is unique due to the loft bedroom, which has a spectacular and comfortable view. The weather did not cooperate, as it has always rained on our anniversary. We went down to the vineyard and talked with Shirley, who was very helpful with the wine selection and the story of the winery. The pavilion, attached to the winery, has a beautiful stone fireplace and rocking chairs to sit and relax on a dreary day. JB, the owner, greeted us, and we spoke at length about the area, the family business, and the restaurants available. We went to Thyme Bistro in Weston, WV, for dinner the first night, and the food and atmosphere were incredible. A great find. For our anniversary dinner, we chose to drive 1/2 hour away to Clarksburg, WV, to The Wonder Bar Steakhouse. This is a hidden gem and should be experienced by all. First rate...

I had a great stay at Craig's place! It was just right for my long weekend in Morgantown. The only disappointment was that the weather was too chilly for me to enjoy the great little front porch! No control over that, of course. Craig greeted me on arrival, and kindly offered to send me the charging cord I had accidentally left behind. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

This is the most beautiful, serene spot in Morgantown! There is so much wildlife here for you and your pet to enjoy. This place has everything you could need for a terrific stay with very caring host. You won’t want to leave!

House was perfect size and phenomenal location for our stay in Morgantown. Restaurant in short walking distance and close proximity to the lake. The short drive to Coopers Rock was a huge bonus. Some of my favorite trails around the area! I wild definitely book here again!!
