This is a great cottage … excellent location, everything you need provided . Can’t fault it. We had a fab time , would definitely recommend & I would book again.

This place is great. Fiona was friendly, helpful and informative from the start. She gave us advice and guidance about her place unlike some people who are over the top with their rules. Her place is very clean and comfortable. It is also very stylish with high quality fittings. I don’t think I’ve stayed in a place that is more equipped; the kitchen has so much. Fiona has really thought about the place and what is needed as a guest. Parking in the local area was straightforward and the neighbourhood is quiet and safe. We walked to the Old Neptune, Tapas and the newish pizza place also on Harbour Street. Very good coffee from Grain and Hearth and Blueprint. This was a perfect place for us as 4 adults- us two in our 50s and our daughter and her partner (18/19 year olds). Excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Slip Cottage. Great communication from Steve throughout and perfect location for beach, restaurants, etc. Literally just off the main street but still quiet. Lovely touches like providing handwash and bubble bath! Lots of towels and toilet roll also. Highly recommend staying here.

Tara was absolutely incredible. She was so responsive, helpful and accommodating before I had even arrived, and this continued long after my stay when I had left an item behind. The Thai Retreat was idyllic and looked exactly like the photos - a beautiful tiny home surrounded by lush gardens, creating the perfect private and quiet escape. Only a short 5-10 minute walk from the centre, and 20 minute walk from Tankerton. The location was perfect, and the amenities will not disappoint. I highly recommend this stay and look forward to visiting again for another weekend escape. Thank you so much for having us, Tara.

We had a really lovely stay in the ground floor flat. It was perfect for accessing a variety of walking routes and not too far from the town centre or harbour arm. We found the flat to be very comfortable and had enough amenities for the nights we chose to dine in and make the most of the lovely flat. Great pubs and restaurants also not too far away if you want someone else to do the washing up. It was a real home away from home! Thank you

Wonderful stay, such a shame we only arrived for 1 night, perhaps next time we will organise our diary better, so the full weekend would be perfect! Great place, walking distance to the beach (like 2min walk! which was perfect for our little kids) and I wouldn’t change a thing! We so hope so to be back!

Beautiful and luxurious maisonette located close to the beach and to a walkable distance from Folkestone (30/40mins). We fell in love with the roof terrace that is overlooking the sea and spent most of our time there ! Nothing to complain about, we really enjoyed our stay.

It’s a really clean caravan, looks exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed, it was a great base to be able to visit family nearby. Communication was great as well. We will be booking again next time we are down.

Gills caravan waz very nice & clean though out. Great communication, everythink you needed on site & shops & take aways walking distance. Beach on your door step which my dogs loved, me, my boys & doggys had a lovely hoilday & hope to go back in the future.

Had a wonderful couple of days stay here. The spacious caravan was very homely and comfortable with two spacious shower rooms. I loved the veranda which is lovely to sit in the sun with your morning cuppa. The caravan is situated in a nice park with a good bar and playground for the children. A couple of minutes walk from the caravan you are on the fabulous beach promenade which takes you to Whitstable or Herne Bay. We booked last minute and so glad that we did.

The place was clean and tidy. Everything we needed was there and we had complimentary small bottle of milk. Would definitely go back. We went to Canterbury through the bus at the entrance of the camp. Great weekend away

It was the perfect hut for a full day at the beach with the kids, all the amenities meant that we didn’t have to carry loads or stuff to the beach! Thank you and we will definitely be rebooking! ☺️

Exactly what it says on the tin, as they say. Friendly people, a nice little grass dog walking area next to a nature reserve. Pub opposite served lovely food as does the clubhouse I’m sure, although we didn’t get to eat there it served a lovely Guinness and provided great entertainment from bingo to cabaret. All in all very happy and hope to go book even just for a mini weekend break. Sandra and her hubby, nice people and very helpful, thank you both. Mark & Michelle

An amazing place to stay, large rooms, very comfortable and great location. The kitchen had more than everything you would need to prepare any meal, with plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. Beds were really comfortable, there was plenty of space, a nice sun-trap in the back garden at this time of year. We had a lovely week here, very relaxing, easy to get to lots of places for days out, and excellent communication from the hosts. 10 out 10, I thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Visited Whitstable for a long weekend with our two kids. The cottage is in a great location, only a few minutes walk from the beach. Check in was easy with a lock box and the cottage was charming. Some had commented that the stairs were steep which they are, but fine for us and our kids (5 and 8 years old). Would happily come back again and would recommend.

Lovely little hose a stones throw from the beach

We had the most amazing stay. We booked it for our wedding weekend and it was even better than the photos / description. The place was so clean and tidy and free of clutter. The rooms were HUGE (much bigger than in photos) and there was so much storage space available. The kitchen was a great size and the sofa was comfy too. It has two bathrooms which was great and a very nice bath which we made use of. It was the perfect space for getting ready the morning of the wedding and had lots of sunlight. It can be a little noisy at night but that didn’t bother us at all as the windows are pretty soundproof! The only thing is that it gets very hot so we did end up buying a fan for the room as the windows don’t open far so it gets very muggy. The apartment is on the top floor so there are a lot of stairs to climb - not a problem for us as we are able but if you struggle with stairs this may be something to consider. Steve’s communication throughout has been great. Thanks so much!

We had a fantastic couple of nights. Very pretty, comfy bed, and everything was thought of for our stay. The location was excellent. Emma was extremely responsive to our messages and very helpful. We'll be back!

Great property and right in the centre of everything. Perfect for our family birthday celebrations from age 7 to age 80. A great find. There are three sets of stairs, but that is fine. Clean property, clear instructions and lovely furniture. The put up beds are very much for a child, and quite firm, but fine for our boy. We took two cars, and used Just Park for the second which made things so much easier over a bank holiday weekend.

Albion House was the perfect venue for our 3 generation gathering. 6 adults, 1 toddler & 2 dogs were perfectly at home with plenty of space. The location is perfect, right on the beach with easy parking & a selection of good eateries just around the corner. We would highly recommend Loaf for breakfast, Docker Bar for a fine range of local craft beer & Fat Raj for a top quality & fresh curry. The only problem was our stay was too short. Nick is very quick to respond & was extremely helpful with regard to flexible arrival & departure. Th

The flat is situated almost right on the beach. So quiet and peaceful. Easily walkable to all the sights, restaurants, and pubs. The flat was spacious and very cosy in the evening with comfortable furniture. Would happily stay again.
