Our approx. 350-year-old farmhouse contains a newly renovated studio. It is located just above the village of Saanen with beautiful views over large parts of the Saanenland. By car, it can be reached in approx. 5 minutes, whether coming from Schönried or Saanen. In between is the underpass with the turnoff to Unterbort/Abländschen. Always follow the signs for “Sonnenhof.” The underpass is also a bus stop. From there it is still a 15-minute walk to the studio. Pick-up service is possible.

It is hard to put into words what a wonderful time we had at Estelle's. It was peaceful and allowed us to slow down, focus on our children and enjoy nature, the weather and the beauty. A real change from a small apartment in a town. Her family are absolutely delightful and our son really enjoyed having other children around. Whilst we didn't need anything, we felt like we could have asked her for any kind of assistance and would have received it. There were lovely little touches to the place including yummy cheese and bread, dressing gowns and toiletries. We had some recommendations for what to do and ended up going to the adventure playground in Saanen. We also did three short hikes with our 1 and 3 year old and spent a good amount of time hanging out in and around the house. The accommodation is simple in the best way possible but also has an incredibly well equipped kitchen, a tv with various services, comfy beds and a lovely bathroom with a powerful shower. We'd stay again for sure

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious and bright apartment on the 4th floor of a quiet and well-maintained residence. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we had sun from morning until about 6:45 p.m. (mid-April). The pool and well-equipped fitness room, which was very appreciated by my sons (19 and 21 years old), were a plus. Rachel and John are very responsive and attentive hosts. With Maria, we were also able to find a good solution for the key exchange, despite time constraints. Thank you all for your flexibility. We'd love to come back.

We spent 5 nights at Cristina's apartment and everything was great. Everything was very clean, the place is very quiet, ideal for relaxing, the size is ideal for two people and a baby, the garden in front of the apartment is perfect, especially for the baby, the village was very close and Cristina was very clear in her check-in and check-out instructions, and very kind. We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the property ! Joëlle was very responsive, and thoughtful, providing clear check-in instructions. The space itself was immaculate — spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I and the kids could possibly need. The location was ideal — peaceful and quiet with an amazing view of the mountains, yet conveniently close to train station and lovely surroundings. I would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a family experience or getting around the area. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

Cécile's chalet in Chateau-d'Oex is a an excellent choice. It has enough space for a family of four, a well equipped kitchen for cooking and space for dining. The outdoor area is very nice to sit and relax or even have dinner at the outdoor table. Chateau-d'Oex is a beautiful small Swiss village with unique Alpine architecture. Everything is in walking distance. It is truly quiet. We had the best long sleep ever !!! And the kids could run to the well equipped playground downtown. Absolutely fabulous !!!

I stayed at this chalet a couple of weeks ago for a vacation, and it was an incredible experience for us. The owner was extremely friendly and thoughtful — she truly provided everything one could need for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. The unit was fully equipped and spotlessly clean. I mean it when I say it had everything — even toys and baby soap, which shows the attention to detail and care for families with little ones. A special thank you to Sylvia as well — she’s such a sweet and kind lady. Without a doubt, I’ll be coming back to this unit many more times in the future. I’ve already recommended it to my family and friends! As for the area, it’s very quiet and peaceful, which is perfect if you’re looking to relax. Just keep in mind there aren’t many activities around — it’s ideal for a calm getaway.
