The hills are alive!! The Hundred Picket chalet is set on a quiet hillside amid rolling pastures and offers a restful spot to explore this beautiful alpine region. Renovated by the owner/architect, the chalet provides generous, modern open spaces, ideal for a couple, a family or a small group of friends. The south view is graced by the Videmanette and Rubli peaks and the northern one includes the historic Palettes farmhouse in its fields as well as the Vanil and Rodomonts mountain ranges.

Studio with beautiful views of the Saanenland

Our approx. 350-year-old farmhouse contains a newly renovated studio. It is located just above the village of Saanen with beautiful views over large parts of the Saanenland. By car, it can be reached in approx. 5 minutes, whether coming from Schönried or Saanen. In between is the underpass with the turnoff to Unterbort/Abländschen. Always follow the signs for “Sonnenhof.” The underpass is also a bus stop. From there it is still a 15-minute walk to the studio. Pick-up service is possible.

Possibility to eat outside, to laze on a lounger or in a hammock... view of the mountains or the village... your accommodation is located on the ground floor of the chalet: we live on the 1st floor. This is an old wooden cottage so it is inevitable to hear the wood crack under our feet (or even spontaneously by change of temperature for example!) but we take your visit into account
