“Completely separate suite on bottom level (lakeside) of the house. No TV, but you will love the peace and quite. Great bed and linens. Large shower in the sauna. Very clean. Great hosts.”
Bungalow apartment with access to the lake. Swimming, large yard, trampoline, kayaks and basketball hoop available.
“Truly a GREAT space in a GREAT location!! The fall colors were so beautiful for our stay, which made our time even better. The hospitality of the hosts is top notch and they always made sure we knew they are available to us, should we need anything. Communication prior to and during our stay was exceptional, complete with ideas of what to do and where to go for food. The bungalow is a cute, quaint space that was perfect for our weekend in the UP. The space sleeps six comfortably, but we fit nine in just fine and had a great time. The hosts make you feel so welcome (waters and yogurt in the fridge and granola bars and k-cups for our stay). We loved being able to have access to the yard, waterfront and firepit. This place is really one of the best and we highly recommend!!”
A modern, new studio apartment above Sew Crazy, our sewing retail shop and on Portage lake! Located in between Chassell and Houghton; only 4 miles from Michigan Tech University, 6 miles from Finlandia University and Houghton/Hancock's great amenities.
“Very clean, cozy and comfortable efficiency apartment. Very close to MI Tech - we were visiting our daughter for Winter Carnival and it only took 5 minutes to drive to campus. Naomi is very friendly and responsive. We enjoyed cross country skiiing and snow shoeing along with all of the Winter Carnival activiites. It was a great long weekend in the north woods.”
