Cottage vacation rentals in Charleston

Absolutely beautiful home. We have family in the area and will be coming back. Jacuzzi was nice as well as the fire pit, washer dryer, comfortable beds, full fridge and stove, it was so worth it. We recommend this home to our fellow Airbnbers

For the purpose of our trip which was to take in 6 or 7 waterfalls, it was a perfect location. Cane Creek Falls, Rockhouse Falls, Fall Creek Falls and Piney Falls are within minutes of this Cottage. This was spacious place with a wonderful wrap-around porch. The Wifi worked well and have pretty good reach outside as well. Plenty of wood was there for use for the fire pit. The HVAC system cooled the place with ease. Definitely a private location. Other than cars passing by, we saw no one. Ha. There is a Dollar General about 10 miles away, so you need to plan ahead for getting groceries there. These are curve mountain roads, so you don't get anywhere quickly, but we expected that. We didn't use the hot tub, but there was one there in good working order. There were string lights up and down, so when it got dark, there was no problem seeing your way around. We really enjoyed this location and would reserve it again if we visited this area in the future. Thanks for the great stay!

Great location and very peaceful. Short walk to the lake. Well equipped cabin and is very clean and comfortable. Great comma from the host. No issues during the stay.

Very peaceful stay for 4 adults just before new years. The woodburning stove was helpful for chilly nights, and the hot tub was enjoyed. Murphy and the surrounding areas are wonderful to explore. Would visit again sometime.

Great location to downtown and 20 minute drive to Ellijay. They gave a lot of great reviews for places to visit while staying. 10 minute drive to a beach as well. Cozy and relaxing!

Great place to stay! We had a wonderful time in Cleveland and getting to see graduation at Lee University ! So beautiful, clean, spacious!

This is our second time here & we love this place! It feels like we are staying at our friend’s house, which is my favorite type of Airbnb. There was a small issue with the AC, but the weather was nice enough that it wasn’t too bad! My favorite part is how much fun my teenagers have fun here too! Hot tub, table top pool table, and a couch big enough to fit most of us! ;) We would love to come back again! Highly recommend.

Great food, beautiful scenery and the kindest people! We had such a great time, we did not want to leave. We had many hiccups during our 14 hour adventure and Rachel was so helpful when she could be. She is very responsive, reasonable and understanding. She also gives great recommendations! The cottage was so cute! Our kids loved it and they even slept in!! We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit, enjoyed the hot tub and watched the firefly’s. We enjoyed seeing turkeys, woodchucks, deer and we even got lucky enough to see a bear! My girls loved playing in the creek and looking for snails in the forest while enjoying the trails. The waterfalls are right down the road and so gorgeous! I could go on and on about all the cool things we got to see! If looking to dine out you have to check out Toccoa Riverside Restaurant and if you have kids travel just north and check out LillyPad Mini Golf, Fishing and Gem Mining they are so fun and great with kids. We will be back!! ❤️

Elizabeth’s home truly felt like a “Happy Place” it offered us an excellent retreat from everyday stress! Situated in a cute working class neighborhood it brought back beautiful memories of visiting Grandma’s house, so cozy and comfortable it feeds your soul! The outdoor deck and yard were an added delight for enjoying morning coffee or an evening glass of vino! Since we were there for a Softball Tournament in neighboring Athens we found the location ideal and We would definitely love to return again!

We had the best time at the Old Town Cottage. It was the perfect, cozy space for our anniversary trip in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. The cottage itself was exceptionally clean with a full kitchen (we were NOT in the mood for cooking ourselves, but it's got anything you could ask for if you're up for homecooking). There are several great, local restaurants and shops in easy walking distance, and Chatanooga is just a quick drive down the mountain for anything you could want. The best part was the beautiful hiking trails just down the road! Several trail heads are about a half mile away. Highly recommend the easy trail down to Rainbow Lake Dam, and the trail down to Rainbow Falls is well worth it if you're feeling a bit more adventurous.

This is a peaceful, clean place to stay. Don is extremely responsive and proactive! Wines, snacks, fruit and cheeses as promised. Plus a lovely banana bread from a local vendor. Coffee bar was nice with creamers and sugar available too. Back porch is comfortable and peaceful! We were looking forward to the fire pit after the concert, but the rain messed up our plans. Bedrooms are big, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean. Decorated very nicely-mountain theme with beautiful furniture! We stayed for 1 night, but there is plenty of closet space for longer stays. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Bryan Cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay in Dayton. Older house with modern feel. Beds, bathrooms and living areas were very nice and comfortable. the front porch was perfect for some fresh air and even to see the double rainbow after an afternoon rain shower. Also, was within walking distance to the lake and fishing areas. We were there for a soccer tournament at NACA. We love the outdoors. Went to the Laurel and Snow falls area. We were not able to make it all the way to the falls due to time constraints but there are plenty of cool photo ops for the first 30-40 minutes for the hike. Beautiful river and small falls along the way. Also visited Wildcat Hollow Falls in Graysville. Very quiet and secluded hike. Not as nice of scenery as Laurel Falls area but still nice. Again, due to time constraints, we were unable to make it all the way to the falls. Would also highly recommend taking a 45-50 trip to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Beautiful area and awesome waterfalls.

Beautiful cottage, with a cozy, homey feeling! Beautiful location! Very welcoming! Could not ask for a better place to stay for the weekend. Pam was very accommodating, and the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids loved it and we all enjoyed the different board games.

Our stay at this property was exceptional!Nestled in a peaceful environment, it provided a perfect retreat for us and our pet. The house is impeccably clean, beds were comfortable and water was hot. The kitchen was well-stocked, making meal preparation effortless! Moreover, its location was ideal with a variety of attractions, restaurants and shopping options conveniently nearby. Book it, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful area. Fall Creek Falls was just a short drive away and the home itself was very cozy and peaceful.

The place was amazing! Beautiful inside and out! We loved sitting on the deck by the water and enjoying the peacefulness of the area! Highly recommend and hope to be able to return for another stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sissy and Bill. The guest house seemed actually larger than the pictures showed. I was there for 2 months and had plenty of closet space and the kitchen was very well stocked. I had a problem figuring out the TV but they were there as soon as I called and showed me what to do. The area where they live is just beautiful and great for walking. There is a trail Mabbit Springs that is in walking distance and a lovely spot for a hike. I also felt very safe at the guest house and enjoyed getting to know Sissy and Bill and their family.

We absolutely loved this historical home in downtown Dayton! Walking distance to everything! We were in town for my son’s collegiate fishing tournament on Chickamauga and the location was perfect. We actually walked to weigh in! Amazing front porch with a swing that we took advantage of! Highly recommended! Will definitely stay here again!

We ran into a little “hiccup” (which was no fault of the owner), but she quickly fixed the problem and made it right. I would highly recommend renting from this hostess.

Description and photos are accurate. The location is very quiet and relaxing. It was easy to find and perfect for our event in Chattanooga. It is a 15 min drive to downtown and there is some grocery stores and restaurants a couple of miles away. The place was super clean and well equipped.

I would recommend this place to others, it was quiet, peaceful, beautiful spot on the lake just like we had wanted, and the photos showed. I thought it would be a bit bigger from the photos, but it did work for our needs! We didn't realize propane was not included with the grill, honestly I didn't even think to check that as an option, however they responded very quickly and directed us to a nearby location to buy some. Out of all the airbnbs I've stayed at over the years, they were the fastest responders by far. Everything was clean, instructions were clear through airbnb, and we had a very nice stay!

What a gem! We absolutely enjoyed our stay over Memorial week. Host decorated the outside and inside with America flags, thought that was a nice touch. Views are amazing. Cabin was super clean and had everything we needed to cook and grill. Fire pit out back is where we spent most of our time. Host was very responsive and gave good directions. Would definitely recommend this place for a quiet peaceful get away. Can’t wait to come back, hopefully in the fall.
