Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Channel Islands

We had the most wonderful stay at the Little Barn! The surroundings are beyond beautiful and the location is very peaceful. We were lucky with the weather so enjoyed lots of time soaking up the countryside in the lovely outdoor area (lots of visits from the little cats saying hello too!). The inside was small but extremely well thought out so never felt cramped and there was plenty of space for the two of us. It was well located for everything we needed from trips to the coast, exploring the national park and visiting the quaint little towns and villages nearby. Overall we had a brilliant stay, thank you Fran, the Little Barn is an absolute gem!

Great base to explore Guernsey from. Peaceful spot. Easy check in and Jeremy very prompt with replies. Lovely to arrive to some thoughtful essentials as well. Thanks for a great stay.

We (2 people & our Labrador) really enjoyed our short stay at The Annex. It is well equipped and in a great position for either walking or short drives to locations like Bigbury- on-Sea or Salcombe. Susie and John were both very friendly (as was Meg their resident dog!) and helpful. We would happily come back for another break - thanks!

Little Spindles is perfect in every way. The location is peaceful and idyllic, yet extremely well connected to the local town and all that Dartmoor has to offer. Beaches are a picturesque drive away. Waking up and coming back to Little Spindles made each day for us. Even without activities, we would have been happy just relaxing there. Little Spindles is beautifully designed inside and out. The details are captivating and so well thought out. It has everything you need and is extremely comfortable. Poppy has made sure everything feels like a top-quality hotel. It’s a treat for the senses with the open layout and indoors-outdoors design. The sound of nothing but birds and trees was good for the soul in a break from our busy lives. Our kids ran free in the garden and relaxed in the hammock whilst we enjoyed eating in the garden. Fun, peace and a sense of luxury all in equal measure. We booked to come again before we even left and we’re counting down the days. Just heavenly!

Maisonnette très agréable, tout est à proximité, le coin est calme, belles randonnées à faire sans voiture, nous n’avons pas vu les hôtes mais communication parfaite

Excellent emplacement face à la mer, extérieur très sympa avec terrain de boule, terrasse et barbecue. Il manque rien dans la maison, belle décoration, mention spéciale pour la cuisine ouverte sur une fantastique vue et des équipements tip top. O mauvaise surprise.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour à Barneville ! Le logement est tout à fait conforme à la description et aux photos, et est très bien situé. Tout est bien pensé pour accueillir les voyageurs, la salle de jeux et la piscine sont très appréciables (nous avons bien profité de la piscine avec des enfants en bas âge malgré sa profondeur). Et surtout nous remercions Céline pour sa réactivité et sa gentillesse !!

We had an amazing 3 night stay in this fantastic house, it easily fitted 7 adults and two small dogs. The attention to detail in decor and amenities was impressive, there was literally nothing that we thought we needed as everything was thought of and provided and more. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. The four double bedrooms (1 was a king or 2 singles) were very comfortable and quality toiletries provided in the three bathrooms. The shared areas were spacious and comfortable with plentiful seating, and all ages catered for. The hot tub and fire pit on the decking was great, and the view from the front of the house is stunning! Denise was proactive from the start and ensured our stay was a perfect 10 out of 10! We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely home from home.

Claire is a lovely Host, she answered promptly, on the app and in person. The appartment was spacious and very well appointed. Comfy bed and sofa. Good range of equipment in the kitchen, and the shower is the best away from home shower we have experienced! The view from our windows was stunning, over looking fields, trees, hedgerows and wildlife including a Hen Harrier! We guess the sea, is 1/2 mile away (as the crow flys) We had about 140 degrees of Sea views and could see Corbierre Lighthouse as shown in the photo. Yes the airport approach is close BUT they did't start till after we had woken up naturally at 7am, and stopped just before 8pm. We enjoyed watching the different planes arrive! The planes did not detract from our enjoymentof the appartment or surrounds! We are planning to return, perhaps in September, we enjoyed ourselves so much in this lovely home, and Claire and her lovely dogs - they are gorgeous and very friendly - just make this a must visit holiday, loved it!

We had a wonderful time at Little Trevio. The apartment itself is very clean and bright, stylishly decorated and perfect for two people. The parking space is right outside the apartment. The outside spaces - made up of two terraces with spectacular views of the quay - were fantastic (we did not get to use the sun loungers or the barbecue because it was a bit wet during our visit). The location is close to the centre of town, on a hill overlooking Brixham Quay. Emily is a great host - instructions and communications were excellent. We got a complimentary cream tea on arrival! We would highly recommend this property and will definitely look to reserve again next time we are in the area.

Thank you, Chris - I must remember to get myself a robo-vac! Wonderfully quiet location and great spot near town. Had everything I needed. My apologies, I had meant to replace all those coffee pods I got through!

Un havre de paix en pleine campagne et à 10min à pieds d'une magnifique plage de sable ! Le logement est propre, décoré avec goût et très bien équipé. Chien accepté dans le logement et sur la plage.

Wir hatten uns einen Wanderurlaub vorgestellt und von Carls Wohnung aus konnte man viele sehenswerte Touren ins Dartmoor und entlang der Küsten machen. Zudem war Plymouth sehr gut erreichbar. Die Wohnung war sehr praktisch eingerichtet und für das Frühstück und zum Kochen gut ausgestattet. Am besten hat uns die Aussicht in den schönen Garten und bei gutem Wetter die Terrassennutzung gefallen.

Séjour chez Jacques agréable,nous le remercions pour l'heure flexible de notre arrivée et la gentille attention (confiture maison).Appartement bien rangé,propre, les photos sont conformes au logement.Tres bonne communication avec Jacques et son épouse. Appartement bien situé pour visiter cette belle région.

Stephane is a caring, helpful and proactive host. The cottage is about 3 blocks from Arromanches center that has great shops and restaurants and the ocean is right there and d-day history in front of you. The cottage is an oasis of tranquility and privacy.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Kerveneur, malgré la météo pas très favorable. La cabane est très fonctionnelle et agréable, l'environnement reposant et très joli, je recommande pour des vacances au calme!

Nous avons passez une excellente soirée. Un vrai moment de détente dans un endroit calme et ressourçant. Cadre très agréable, tout est décoré avec goût. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’attention de Quentin et Anais qui avaient préparé le spa pour notre arrivée. Les fléchettes et lancé de couteaux nous ont bien amusés aussi ;)

We had a magnificent stay. Klaus made us feel right at home, we enjoyed some drinks together as he explained the hiking routes, places to eat, etc. We loved the the summer house we stayed in, it was well-equipped and comfy, leaving nothing to the imagination. And self-built, really cool. We enjoyed fresh eggs every day and whenever we needed some help, he was always at hand. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, it made our already fun trip even better :-)

From the very first moment on we felt truly welcomed! The cabin is absolutely fabulous! There is everything you need and even more! The interior is perfectly designed to make most out of the space! The privat sauna is just the cherry on top! The surrounding is so silent, you will only hear birds and seagulls. Pavla was the perfect host, providing us with additional information and recommendations and we really enjoyed our little welcome basket! We will be back :)

Great getaway here! Easy to book, new amenities, smart new decor, great shower, fully functioning oven, job and microwave. Good directions to get to the place and easy self check in. (Just note there is no wifi and bring a spare toilet roll as we used our 1 roll up pretty quickly).

Wow what an amazing find! This place is fabulous. Very clean, absolutely loads of essentials. They have thought of everything. Would highly recommend this place to stay. The outside space is perfect, hot tub was great and the other side of the cabin has a beautiful bbq area. The Sauna was great and nice addition. We loved the golf. Can’t wait to return!

Fantastic little spot in a beautiful valley. Very warm greeting from Tim when we arrived giving us some insight about the local access for walking. Great spot to escape - very quiet and calm location with very comfortable accommodation with everything you would need. Definitely be revisiting !

Lovely stay with the family and dog. Very peaceful, comfortable and spotless. Paul replied very quickly to a couple of queries I had. A little hard to find coming from the West and roads very narrow. However as a get away & somewhere quiet it was spot on.
