We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very comfortable and very well-equipped. The trampoline, games, books, and comics delighted our daughter. Despite average weather, we were able to enjoy the garden, hot tub and hammam. The house is also located a stone's throw from the lively heart of Saint-Pair sur Mer with all its shops and three steps from the sea. We'll be back with pleasure in this nice house. We have just spent ten days in paradise at Vincent's house. Caring for my 85-year-old uncle, after very difficult years in terms of health, we had a vital need to recharge, and - with his sister and mine - we really feel like we have been fulfilled. The place is just beautiful: between the magic of the garden and the surrounding nature, the postcard house, the beauty of the beaches and cliffs of the immediate surroundings, everything invites happiness and relaxation. We caught our eyes full of it. We happily enjoyed the Nordic bath with a view of an ocean framed by plants and flowers, but we also loved the house, very comfortable and well furnished. Vincent, besides being very friendly, has a very good taste and a practical sense of detail that makes life easy. Everything is very well designed and thought out. Add the markets, fish, seafood, and butter (salted)... Heaven, I tell you! Thank you!

Great private accommodation, quiet and peaceful. It's super well decorated, it feels good, there's plenty of space. We enjoyed the tranquility of our stay, the presence of the cat who was adorable and the jacuzzi. The host is like the cottages, we recommend it!

Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

We had a pleasant stay at Caroline and Alan's place. Very clean and functional house. A peaceful place where we were able to rest. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.

Thank you for a lovely stay. Lovely accomodation in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We enjoyed walks around the farm and we were joined by one of the hosts dogs a couple of times which we loved. We even managed to see an otter down at the river on our first night! Bird and hedgehog watching from the hot tub with a glass of bubbly… bliss.

Staying at Francois’ cottage was peaceful and quiet. The cottage is just as it appears in the photos— it’s spacious, clean and functional and serene. The property is beautiful. Although you have another cottage set on the other side, it doesn’t detract from your sense of privacy. It feels like you’re a thousand miles apart. I wouldn’t advise this cottage, however, for anyone who is handicapped, very elderly, or who has toddlers because of the stairs. Other than that, you will be very pleased with your time there.

Beautifully renovated old house in the middle of the village. When you come in, you stand on the beautiful stone floor, upstairs in the bedroom on floorboards. There is a garden and the house is very quiet. Nevertheless, it is possible to be at the bakery or at the market on market day in 2 minutes on foot. During our stay, Serge and Barbara were traveling themselves. However, they took care of everything on the go.

Fabulous views. Ideal location to walk to beaches, whilst the water taxi was an easy cheap and fun way to land in the centre of the Plymouth Barbican. Both pubs great were great, The Bridge was a nice restaurant for a Saturday night treat. Also had breakfast and lunch at The Guardsman both good and all within a few minutes walk of the cottage.

We stayed for a long weekend, and had friends join us for the first night. Bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The house is in a lovely spot, and really quiet. Instructions accurate and detailed. The kitchen was well appointed and two fridges a really useful touch. If you plan to use the BBQ you will need to bring charcoal - the local Asda had very limited option, so we recommend planning ahead! We made the most of being on the south west coast path on our second day, walking all the way to Salcombe…. The trek back up the hill was a little more intense than we hoped, but a great location. We would have happily stayed a few more days!

What a beautiful location, a stunning property with views from every vista. It was a perfect set up for us to bases ourselves while some friends came to join. Lovely local pub 2 min walk away. The parking is definitely not for the faint of heart or anyone with a larger vehicle. I would park in the car park nearby and shuttle luggage if not confident. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. House is very well appointed and equipped. We used the property as a test and retreat, I can see with all the boats it can also be a hub for much more. I have mobility issues now due to illness and note some may find it tricky, but I found the ground floor master suite excellent for independence and was rotated around the other balconies with some assistance. I could walk to the local and was collected from outside for transport. (With some steps). The Bridge restaurant at the marina is excellent and also does take out.

This very well located accommodation, a short walk to the beach and the coastal trail, is an excellent choice for holidays with family or friends. Sonia's welcome, although virtual, was remarkably responsive and kind. A place to remember!

Lovely clean, well equipped little cottage opposite a lovely little pub with great food. Daniel was a great host, accommodating and responsive. We’ll definitely be back. It’s a lovely little cottage in a cute little village just outside Tiverton and 30 mins from Plymouth.

A gem! Super nice and beautiful cottage, with all comforts and pleasant host. The area is beautiful, as is the garden itself. We had the luck of radiant weather, so our 3 kids (12, 10 and 7) and we ourselves enjoyed the pool and terrace to the fullest. The real sights are a little further away, but that makes up for the accommodation. We'll be back!

Great week in this charming house overlooking the countryside and sea. The surrounding hikes are diverse and offer beautiful scenery and the hospitality is really very nice. Recommended!

Lovely place and lovely stay in magical Guernsey! Kirsty was responsive and provided great communication on the run up to our holiday and upon arriving. The house was beautifully decorated and lovely and comfy for us as a family of 4. Location is brilliant for everywhere you would want to visit on the island. We also loved Forest Stores across the road and popped in pretty much every day for supplies of some sort. Would highly recommend this place, thank you Kirsty!

What a clean, beautiful cottage in such calm surroundings - we've enjoyed every minute. The cottage was perfect - clean and tidy with stunning nautical decor, we felt right at home the minute we walked in. The view of the sea is much better than described - a highlight for me was sitting in bed drinking my morning coffee watching the waves! The beach is a 2 minute walk away and we had it pretty much to ourselves. Sadly we didn't catch a glimpse of the local dolphins! The garden is full of beautiful flowers - the access is from the road up a path with steps thru the garden. The kitchen had everything we needed in the way of utensils/cutlery/crockery, the bedrooms were clean with fresh bedding, the lounge was well stocked with games/books/dvds which the kids loved. Nick was extremely responsive and proactive, very helpful when I messaged him, and we were very grateful for a bit of flexibility on checkout. Overall a lovely relaxing experience - can't wait to return!! Thank you!

Our second time staying here and its perfect for the two of us. Plenty of space and has everything you need. Great hosts, provided us with all the information we needed. We will certainly be staying here again, we have family have in the area and are so glad we have found a lovely place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Swallows Nest. Lucia and Dan met us on arrival and also left a card and bottle of bubbly for my birthday which I thought was very kind. We have a four year old and one year old so it’s not always easy finding somewhere suitable but Lucia kindly set up a cot for us and supplied a high chair. The upstairs is open plan with a gate across the stairs so very safe for our baby crawling. Our four year old absolutely loved being on a farm and going to collect fresh milk from over the road. It’s so peaceful day and night. It was our first time in this part of Devon and we were blown away by the landscape, pretty little villages and many beaches in such lovely unspoilt settings. We would love to stay again!
