In the winter, spend a cosy day indoors or enjoy time outdoors. Two cross country ski/snowshoe locales—Kawartha Nordic Ski Club and Silent Lake Provincial Park—are within a half-hour drive.

Stay beside the North River in our charming guesthouse cabin. Private riverfront to launch canoes or kayaks Public Boat launch across the road. Single loft with two twin beds that can easily be put together to make a king and a comfy queen size sofa bed on the main floor. Wood stove is the primary heat. The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year.

There are 2 kayaks, a canoe and a paddleboat available for your use along with the recommended safety equipment.
