Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Chamula

This is the second time I have stayed at this accommodation, and it really is a super comfortable place if you are taking children, as it has a large space for them to play, and it's comfortable for older adults as it is on one level and the entrances are wide. A very nice place.

We definitely enjoyed our stay here. The house oozes with character. It is certainly one of the more unique properties we have stayed in. The good: the rooftop deck, plenty of potable water, comfortable beds, interesting house with nice artwork and furniture. The meh: this house is like an escape room. Without instructions we would never be able to access it or any of the rooms. There are at least 8 or 9 different keys that open different doors around the house. It was very confusing at first and since we arrived at 2am we couldn’t find one of the keys and had to climb out a window to access the second bedroom. We found the key the next morning - it’s all part of the fun of travelling! Also, the bedrooms are on the lower level and although they are comfortable, they get quite humid. The showers are hot, but the temperature goes in and out. Lastly, the house is a 20 minute walk to Plaza de la Paz. We often walked there and took a taxi back for either 50 or 60 pesos. The bad: nothing!

There is no doubt that excellent location and all the services made us feel at home,(nearby are some food places and a market) if we travel again, we would not last in staying again in that beautiful place,in which we enjoyed cooking with family and even roasting courtes, thank you Rober for making the stay easier and being a good host,more blessings (do not hesitate to book with it)

Everything was great and they were very kind

We had a very comfortable stay in this accommodation. The location is close by to everything, but still in a quiet street. The kitchen is equipped very well. And with the food market being super close we oftenly were in twist cooking for our own or picking one of the great restaurants. The communication with Rosario was so commendable. She is very forthcoming and proactively handled every request we would have. In the end, instead of staying one week, we prolonged our stay for 3 weeks.

An excellent place to feel at home, it is a safe, comfortable and clean space. Easy to find and very close to downtown; this is the second time we've stayed and we'll continue to do so in the future.

Family owned AirBnB and son Marcos was super quick and responsive. I stayed here for 5 weeks and he got me a microwave, place had yoga mats, and I loved the treated water. You can tell they know the needs of a traveler and have AirBnB filled with things like sufficient lighting, kitchen tools, extra cleaning supplies, extra blankets, heater, and etc. Don’t hesitate to reserve your stay. You will enjoy every minute of it.

The space is super close to the centre, clean and spacious. Even though we booked very spontaneously we were able to check in just fine. Claudia sent us a list of restaurants & markets and organised a tour for us. Would definitely stay again! (:

Excellent place, comfortable, clean and a few blocks from the central park, it has everything you need for your stay, very central to restaurants and shopping area

The apartment is new, the decoration and furniture are very good, everything is clean and tidy, I'm delighted to return and stay again.

Miguel and Erika deserve more than 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The studio has everything you need, they even left us a bottle of water 👏 The bed and pillows are comfortable, with enough blankets if you suffer a little from the cold. The bathroom is spacious and bright, and the kitchen has everything you need. Internet works well. One floor up there is a nice terrace with tables and chairs, and you can also dry clothes (not in the rainy season😂) Miguel and Erika are very kind, they know how to interact with their guests, (an example is that Erika asked us what time we had the bus to leave, since it was evening, she suggested that we leave the room later, without us having to ask, of course this happened because there was no check-in scheduled, but I'm sure she would have let us leave at least our backpacks somewhere if there had been a check-in). They are travelers, and they offer the solution to possible problems before

Adriana’s place is located close to a lot of great places. The terrace is wonderful and the apartment a fantastic place to work and rest for short and long stays. Adriana is a fantastic host and very easy to talk to. I would 100% recommend her place.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb. The host was incredibly attentive and helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable. The location is ideal, situated on a popular walkable avenue lined with restaurants, bars, and cafes. I took several tours and the Airbnb’s location conveniently allowed for pickup right around the corner. I highly recommend this location and will definitely be returning soon!

The place is spacious and comfortable away from the traffic and congestion of the center, but close enough to walk. Easy to take as a starting point to Comitán, San Juan Chamula, Zinacantán, etc. Super comfortable beds and clean and new bathrooms.

We loved the apartment, very cozy, rooms and stay very close to each other. Very comfortable beds. A very large mango tree, the avocado tree too, and the fig tree the same. Only the garage access is a little tight, but no problems.

Good location, a comfortable space and commensurate with the price, useful for visiting San Cristobal en Familia.

The host's attention was quick and efficient, he arranged the reservation in a short time despite the times, I recommend the place as it is warm, private, very well kept, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms with hot water, and a fully-equipped kitchen. My daughters loved the detail of a functional typewriter, for them it was something new, since everything is PC today. The garden is small but beautiful.

It is a quite comfortable place with lots of privacy, very nice and in a prime location.

We absolutely loved staying at Tonatiuh's place. This oplace is unique with all greenery and nice garden. They have cats and dogs which well trained, we will miss them all. They were some reviews about the hot water, but we didn't have any issue. I believe they have changed the hot water system. We are active people, we didn't mind walking to centro but there are combis to centro which only 5 min walk and they run very regularly. I highly recomend this place if you like peaceful place.
