Very good value for money accommodation. Large family home, comfortable. Soizic and Patrick are very nice people and made us feel comfortable right away. Like family. Cold beers and strawberry trays for a snack!! Thank you for this beautiful stay, to be repeated if we return to the area.
An antique sewing machine base is shown, featuring intricate metalwork and the name 'SINGER' displayed prominently. The base rests on tiled flooring, with a light-colored door partially visible in the background, hinting at the cottage's rustic charm.

La Grange de Léa, 70 m2 in the countryside

AzizRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Extended weekend operation: 4 days, 2 children, 0 quiet pee breaks. Hideout: at Christophe and his wife's, in a charming house (and miraculously intact after our visit). Objective: to discover the region without losing a child or our mental health. Result: walks, laughter, "I'm hungry", "I'm thirsty", "I don't want to walk", and even a "is it still far?" 200 meters from the start. But in the end, pure happiness! Mission accomplished, parents alive, children happy, and memories full of suitcases (as well as some "too pretty" pebbles collected along the way).
A living room features a blend of vintage and modern decor, including a wooden chest of drawers and a plush sofa adorned with yellow cushions. A mirror above the mantelpiece reflects light, while a wall clock adds a functional accent. Natural light pours in through the window, highlighting the room's inviting ambiance.

The charm of an old house

CatherineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Entire apartment with every comfort renovated on the 2nd floor of an old house full of history and with a lot of character. The whole thing is very pleasant and changes from the standardized and soulless aspect of many Airbnbs. Sharing a common entrance as in a building with parts occupied by the owners, very discreet. We spent 2 quiet nights there. Very good welcome from the hosts, we were able to store our bikes in a shelter. Tastefully decorated apartment, very clean, very well equipped, basic amenities well present, finally a very ordinary filter coffee maker (what a pleasure). 160 bed, very good mattress. Very nice view of the Charente. Well located place for cycling, 2 steps from Rochefort (worth spending time there), not far from the coast, plenty of places to visit within 25 km, not to mention La Rochelle. Enchanting bike trails in the surrounding marshes, many marked circuits. A good place that we recommend.
