La Maison du Clos in Champagne

ElsemiekRating, 5 stars1 week ago
had a great weekend with friends in this beautiful house. We explored the area with a van. Epernay offers many opportunities to visit champagne houses. You'll be there in a minute! A must is the Italian restaurant: Amici. Please make a reservation in advance. Towards Reims is champagne house Gardet. François can talk very enthusiastically about the process of making the champagne. After that, you will get a tasting in the beautiful garden. Lunch tip in Reims: Sacre Brunch. back to the house: beautiful rooms, sparkling clean and two sofas to watch TV. Two clean bathrooms and 2 toilets. The house is in a quiet area. Carrefour nearby and bakery 5 min walk! The only point is that it can get quite hot in the rooms upstairs. Good to keep in mind, for example, by closing the shutters on a sunny day. There's no air conditioning. We look back on a fantastic stay!

Beautiful stay in picturesque Champagne! This place is 5 minutes out of the Eppernay city center and situated right on top of a vineyard and beautiful pool. The space inside is very well-done, beautiful, and equipped for a beautiful stay in Champagne. Julie is responsive and kind - will definitely stay again when visiting the area!

Spacious Duplex in City Center + Closed Box Garage

Lovely apartment at great location! Centre and Avenue de Champagne in walking distance. Free parking at the street and als autobox (thats a bit small so you need good parking skills and a tight body to get in and out :)). But relax... after a few glasses of the best champagne you forget about dealing with this. The host Fred is a great guy and also sells magnificant Champagne, feel free to ask him about it.

A wooden table is softly illuminated by a candle, creating a warm ambiance. An open book titled 'Hegel Esthétique' lies next to a chessboard, where several chess pieces are arranged, hinting at an ongoing game. The scene offers a quiet and contemplative atmosphere.

Céline is a very nice host! She was great in communication and we could always contact her for information about the house, questions or surroundings. She had very clear instructions about the house. The house was very clean and perfect for 4 friends. Would recommend.

Mitsy's Workshop

AnthonyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed here for a few nights to enjoy some of the delights of the region. In short, it was brilliant. Xavier & Perrine’s place is set in the ground of their chateau, which is pretty and in a lovely and quiet forest setting with good walks, a nice pool and some gardens to enjoy. It’s ideal for driving to Épernay and other towns, for wineries, restaurants and good shops too. The apartment was very clever in its use of space and was well equipped for two of us to prepare some food. Xavier is warm and delightful to chat to, and he knows champagne professionally so not only did he recommend the gems to visit but also curated a selection of bottles already chilled in the fridge when we arrived, at really good value prices too so we could immediately enjoy a sample of the great wines around the area. We only wished we’d been able to stay for longer but hope to be back. Merci!
