Recently renovated hand-built log cabin with amazing outdoor space. Very cozy and comfortable. A great family hangout space, indoors and out. One bedroom/loft/sofa bed. Close to Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water, Ohiopyle, and many outdoor activities including rafting, hiking, biking, and kayaking. There's a smart TV for those rainy or cold days, as well as some games and books. A beautiful spot to simply relax, and a great base location for your next adventure.

If you enjoy privacy and pretty scenery this is the place for you. Enjoy nature and the sounds of waterfalls from the elevated deck. This two bedroom house is all by itself with an updated kitchen. Just a short drive to Laurel Caverns, Falling Water and Ohiopyle. There is plenty of firewood on site for campfires. The long driveway is dirt and gravel and rough and you have to ford a small stream. You don’t need a 4 wheel drive but you do need a vehicle with clearance. Pickup or SUV recommended.

It was a cute and quaint little cabin. Very clean. It was perfect for my family and I to relax. Will definitely book again. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. My family enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. We really liked the covered porch/deck with a grill.

My husband and I booked this treehouse mainly for my niece and nephew who were visiting from out of the country with their parents. But surely, the big kids at heart also had an amazing time. What an unforgettable retreat to build lasting memories with family! I asked the kids and the following stuck the most (and which they still do rave about): building fires, making and enjoying s'mores, and sleeping in hanging beds. As for us, just seeing the kids' smiles and curiosity piqued, along with the quality family time we spent together, made this experience truly worth it. Thank you, Nina and Bob, for sharing this magical place as well as for the treats you provided for all ages! 😆😊 Leaving love, our family ❤️

We loved staying here! The place was easy to find, clean, charming, and super cute! It had all the conveniences you’d want and Amy was very responsive with great proactive recommendations. We took her up on the recommendation to get cinnamon rolls at Maywood Grille and they did not disappoint. Highly recommend staying at The 1848 Studio!

So I thought this was quite the gem. I stayed overnight on my way back home and it was so easy to find and get into which was wonderful after a long drive. You can’t beat having dedicated parking right outside your door. No stairs or anything that was inconvenient. The room was as described but one of the very thoughtful touches was this great artwork of two adorable lady bugs. Like someone said in previous review, you can tell this property is loved. And you can’t beat that price! I would definitely stay here again.
