Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Chalcis

We have visited Nikos’ house for a hiking weekend in that area. It was a great choice! We were 5 persons, but even for 8 people the house is big enough. It was clean, providing a lot of services, especially in the kitchen. So, the preparation of breakfast was super easy. It has a nice balcony, so we spent most of our time there, with a great mountain view around. We totally recommend it, and for sure we will booked it again when we will visit this area again. Recommendations for food and activities around, you should ask him!

Sparkling clean and tidy. It is located in the village of Kambia, 5m by car from Steni, Evia. People are very kind, welcoming and friendly, willing to help us with everything.

The house is great. Beautiful, pleasant and complete. It's better than the photos in my opinion. And hosts are thoughtful and helpful. The location of the house is perfect because it is quiet and away from noise and traffic but at the same time very close on foot to restaurants cafes and the beach. If your plan is visiting the area, I can confidently introduce you to the space. You'll be very happy

The house is just wonderful! 3 beautiful bedrooms, living room, dining room, very large, kitchen excellent, spotless and equipped with everything you need, salt, pepper, oil, espresso coffee and even plastic cups. 2 bathrooms upstairs in the bedrooms, large and 1 toilet downstairs, also spotless, where there was again everything, shower gel, shampoo, hair cream, extra hand towels, enough and even body deodorants and tissues for those who do not use face towels! Emma is an amazing host, very friendly and kind, a wonderful person! We highly recommend Emma and her wonderful home to spend your vacation or weekend with your friends or family! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We had an amazing time in Marys house in the mountains of Evia. The house is really cosy and Mary made us feel really welcome! We found everything we needed to do some cooking, the house was super clean and every question I had Mary answered directly. Makrichori is a really small and calm village and we really enjoyed the peace and quietness. I really recommend the place!

Our two-night stay at Christina's place was absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect, right by the sea, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Christina herself is an exceptional host, making our stay even more enjoyable with her warm hospitality. We will definitely be returning in the future!

The house was lovely, the view was fantastic. It was awesome that we were two families and we separated on the two floors and each one had its own bathroom. Kitchen and living room very convenient and big space. The balconies are awesome to stay for the hours. The back balcony - terrace is closed and has enough toys for children to work on and comfortable couches for you to relax. Communication with the host was typical and everything we needed helped us.

Lena’s apartment was a very good surprise! The place is really spacious, well equipped, and we really enjoyed the big terraces. It’s definitely a place to keep in mind! Great value for money!

The house was lovely and very organized, it had everything you might need inside. Sunset view from the balcony!!! Passing across the street was the beach!!! It had everything nearby, from food, coffee, drink, shopping! Mrs. Evangelia, a wonderful person !!! Me and my daughters were very happy! I highly recommend it!

Feeling at home away from home! Beautiful apartment in the green of the Greek hills with every comfort and surrounded by a huge garden. Recommended by car to get to the location and to visit the area, there is a large supermarket 5 minutes away by car while 10/15 minutes away there are very comfortable beach towns (we really liked the Sesi Beach area). Impeccable hospitality, hosts offered us a basket of fruit and bottle of wine upon arrival (and also fresh water in the dispenser in the apartment!). See you soon! 😊

Very nice house in very peaceful surroundings close to the center of the town. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and gave us lots of amazing recommendations! Overall we were very pleased with the house and we had an amazing time!

Whatever I say, I will not be able to describe the stay like we feeled. The house has everything you need, but above all is the view and the location! The place is away from the road, but at the same time very communicative with a wonderful view of the bay and the mountains. The house is built with great attention to detail and we feeled like at home. From the terrace there is a very beautiful view of the bay and while having breakfast or dinner it is very pleasant. There are waterhoses everywhere in the yard and the kids enjoy watering the flowers. At this house you can enjeoy the peace, and when you need some action - Drosia Center is 5 minuntes and Chalkida is 15 minutes away. It has everything you need - stoves, refrigerators, etc. The kids didn't want to go back home! I recommend with both hands!

We made the gender disclosure of our baby with families and best men. Great location, beautiful views , greenery peace and quiet !! We were comfortable in terms of noise (due to children). Very helpful host, lived next door and always discreetly asked if we were ok and we needed something!!! Perfect for large groups!!

We really have no words.We spent the Easter days 10 people there (3 families) with children and babies and he left us the best impressions.The house as a place that not only is not missing anything but the hosts have provided for much more things than the basics as well as as people who from the first moment we booked and in every communication either at our arrival or by phone they were very kind and extremely helpful.We took a lot of things that we didn't use because the house provided them with the above.A step forward the hosts for every need that may arise,many congratulations!!It is also recommended as a place and as a hospitality and definitely as a location as it is beautiful and quiet.We will definitely seek to revisit it in the future!

The place is perfect for families with kids. From one side there is no pool which we saw as benefit since you don’t need to look for the kids all the time and they can just ran in the amazing garden, from the other side you can just open the gate at the end of the garden and go to a privet beach. Supper recommended!

Great place for a relaxing vacation with family or friends! It helps you unwind. Our group of 6 had 2 apartments (2br & 1br), both with access to the lovely terrace overlooking the pool. Highlights: Clean house and well-stocked kitchen (spices, coffee etc). The pool and garden are very well-maintained. The pool is super clean. The beach is just a few feet away -clean, naturally shaded, and feels private. Christina is generous, super-responsive, and ready to address issues. We had an electricity issue and a malfunctioning AC -former was resolved within hours of our checkin (wow!), latter within a couple of days. Lastly, grocery stores & restaurants are within a 10’ drive. Only (minor) surprise: Given the private setup, we were simply not expecting neighbors, or them being constantly on their terrace, within a few feet from ours. Must have been an exception, given other reviews. Everything is as shown in the pics, or better! I highly recommend this house and would happily return!

This place is a gem. We spent a week in April there - 2 families + grandparents (10 people in total) and we enjoyed every moment of it. We were met by the wonderful smell of orange flowers when we arrived. And a stunning panoramic view over mountains, the sea, and fields of olive trees, with goats and sheep peacefully grazing. There is plenty of lovely, green outdoor areas around the house to relax. The pool area is amazing, very clean and well-maintained pool. The surroundings are marvelous and quiet - and just swarming with life: eagles were soaring over us daily, a hoopoe was hanging out nearby, and we met a tortoise wandering around next to the house. The house is well-equipped with everything you need, and George and his father were extremely kind and helped out right away with even the tiniest issues. We couldn’t ask for a better host! Great taverna and butcher in the nearby village with a lovely view from the terrace. Daphni beach and its fish tavern also strongly recommended :)

We stayed at Alexandros house as a family of 4 and liked it very much. A nice and clean house in a quiet area, with a lot of entertainment features in the backyard. When we arrived we found so many small things that were provided by Alexandros, e.g. coffee, tea, milk, water, some breakfast cereals, sweets as well as shower gel and shampoo or even powder for the washing machine. Alexandros and his wife were beautiful hosts, very friendly and accommodating, communication was quick and easy via the app. We would definitely come back!
