We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

Great for a short stay in a beautiful part of France! The host instructions re. local amenities and activities are super helpful given the relatively remote location.

We have just had a jolly spiffing holiday at Petit Grange! Monpazier is of course as beautiful as ever and the beer at Biere De Las Bastide still as quaffable, and all just 5 mins walk away! Petite Grange was perfect for our stay, having ample room to accommodate four adults. Everything you need has been thoughtfully included and all is clean and fresh as you'd expect from top notch hosts. Although we didn't try the pool or hottub (it being out of season) we found the garden and veranda offered both sunshine and shade, along with stunning views and a much-used BBQ, indeed if it wasn't such a beautiful area with much to see we could happily just hang out at Petite Grange - and will definitely return! An amazing home with a special mention for the kitchen (spacious, very well-equipped, a real pleasure to cook with the family). The accommodation is warm, the bedding very comfortable. It is spacious and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated having a bathroom for each room, the spa outside, the charm of the small village. Thanks also to Dominique, the person we were in contact with, who was responsive whenever we asked.

Great stay at Mike and Mandy's in their lovely and very warm cottage. The property and garden are beautiful, the environment very picturesque, with all the comforts of course! Mike is discreet but always there if needed with great kindness :-) So we found exactly what we were looking for for our Family Weekend, and we enjoyed the good family time spent on the covered terraces overlooking the valley :-) A really nice experience in this slice of paradise. We absolutely recommend!!

A really lovely place surrounded by vineyards and with easy access to local towns. Bordeaux is a 90 min drive through some charming villages. I brought my dog and she loved the fenced garden. She loved Jonathan too! In fact, both Jonathan and Lesley are the most welcoming, considerate, generous and helpful of hosts. I stayed for a few weeks and would return in a heartbeat.

The house was really beautiful and had a good size outdoor area which was great for sunbathing and relaxing. Katherine left us a welcome pack which included fresh croissants and bread, orange juice, milk, butter, jam and a very nice bottle of wine! Very much appreciated. Each room has a fan and the shutters keep the house nice and cool. The house is in a quiet location but perfect for exploring the Dordogne and Charente. A car is a must.

Perfect accommodation, full of amenities for good cooking ;) Garden and great panoramic terrace, the river nearby and communication with Dorothée very easy throughout the stay. Great!

Thank you for this charming cottage, we had a great time there with the family. The garden is superb, wooded, quiet and pleasant. The coolness of the house is very nice in summer. Everything is as described, with a bonus of toy bins for kids!! :)

Thank you for a very relaxing stay. We found the gîte to be exactly as described, with all the amenities needed. The area is very pretty and we enjoyed exploring for the few days we were here. Peaceful and pretty area.

This is a really lovely cottage in amongst the vines, and a wonderful pool, terrace, bbq... It was extremely hot for the first few days (over 38 degrees) and although the cottage wasn't air-conditioned, it was cool and there were plenty of fans. Emma was extremely helpful and suggested lots of local restaurants and activities which were all great. The cottage was well supplied with everything we needed - good for cooking, and I read from (and donated to) the great little library of books provided. The unexpected bonus was that her TV could access UK BBC live and we watched a LOT of the Olympics with UK commentary! Such a lovely holiday, thank you.

What can I say! Katie and Matt's hospitality is exceptional. They were super flexible and met all our needs without us even having to ask. The small meals and breakfasts are a very appreciable plus, and it was delicious. A welcome that we will not forget. We will be back!

Nice little apartment, really very well equipped, quietly located. On the terrace you can sit comfortably in the evening, in front of the river there is also a nice sitting area to enjoy the sunset. In the living room there is a guest bed, this is more suitable for children, with the weight of an adult it sags too much and is not so comfortable. But since we planned it as a bed for the children anyway, it was sufficient for us. Eric and his wife were very nice and warm. The area offers the possibility of many wine tastings, it is not far to Bordeaux and there is also a lot to explore in the area.

Wow!!! Everything was impeccable, clean, with everything you need in the kitchen! The exterior is perfect! Everything is super well maintained and of great quality! We were sad to leave! Thank you to Linda and Andrien for hosting us and your little touches!! We would recommend it without hesitation!!

There were three of us, with a toddler, and it was perfect to unplug. The house are beautiful and idyllic. The pool and accommodation were clean, the facility is very well maintained and the kitchen well equipped. The hosts live right next door, you feel welcome and like home. But you absolutely need a car, you are in a remote place. The only flaw: The amenities of the accommodation are rather old and outdated. Thank you for the wonderful week

We had a wonderful stay here. Lovely pool and bbq were the cherry on the cake! The hosts were lovely and we really felt at home. Would definitely visit again!
