Family-friendly vacation rentals in Centro

We spent a week in Pilar's beautiful home. The location is easily walkable to the metro restaurants, museums etc. We enjoyed eating at the various restaurants nearby -- none more than a block or two from the apartment. Havana Blues (two blocks from apt) for cuban sandwiches, La Princessa on the opposite corner from our block apt for amazing dolmas, chicken shawarma and belly dancing. The mercado is two blocks away for cheese fresh seafood and vegetables. Lots of coffee and pastry options. Pilar gave us a personal overview of how everything worked in the apartment. The kitchen is completely stocked. We probably spent most of our time out on the terrace, which also has a cute little sleeping cottage. There is a large retractable awning to offer shade in the hot part of the day. We sat outside every night and the large conversation couch offers plenty of seating. Pilar is a lovely host and is extremely responsive. We highly recommend.

What a wonderful stay! We very much enjoyed our time in Madrid and felt right at home at Maria Eugenia’s place. It was a great, open space and very comfortable! I would recommend to all! Apartment was spacious, clean and in a great location. We struggled to understand all directions because check-in was with a different person who did not speak English though all other communications were in our language.

My Spanish wife and I stayed for the entire month of April. We visit Spain most every year so we can visit her family. Lovely place, we loved the location: Close to TWO metro stations, a great supermarket and LOTS of shopping and restaurants. Even though we were close to the center, it did not feel over touristy, we felt like we were really living in a Spanish neighborhood. We loved the big, luxurious master bath, though we never used the bathtub. The second bathroom is tiny, NOT for big people. We never had to use the heat or A/C so I cannot comment on that. Gigi is a good host. Absolutely recommend!

This is a fabulous location, central to the Madrid art triangle of museums and with excellent transport access via Atocha train station, the express airport bus from there and multiple Metro stops. But walking is easy from here to many Madrid attractions, and more importantly you are surrounded by great restaurants and the Mercado Anton Martin market. Despite this the area is also peaceful as you are on the third floor well above the local streets, so it is a stylish refuge when relaxing after exploring Madrid

Pedro was super helpful and friendly. His place was easy to find and very central. The checkout was easy - leave keys on the table and close the door. A very pleasant stay, just what we needed

Loved this apartment—comfortable, well equipped and very clean, great location close to La Latina metro. Would be a ‘5’ all around if Lorena his co-manager could have provided a map we could use to find recommended bars and restaurants (as some of the hosts at our AirBnB have done for me before) and had been available to come down to let us in at the appointed time (2pm). We had to wait on the street for a few minutes. Be aware you have to climb 74 steps their apartment — no lift. Prepared us for our Camino walk. Thank you for a great Madrid experience.

It was very nice to be in Nieves' apartment. Always attentive, everything is clean and tidy and a very large and functional house.

Exactly as advertised. Location could not be better. Luz was responsive and very nice. Note it would be tight with any more than two people.

We had a great stay here. It was in a perfect location right next to Plaza Mayor and it was nice because we were able to keep our luggage at Enrique’s store before we checked in. He also answered our messages very quickly. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great apartment and nice pool area. Host was incredibly helpful and kind, allowing us to use to pool after check out. The only issue we had was that the WiFi wasn’t great, signal was often quite weak. Other than that it was fabulous!

Everything is good! Location is excellent. We all stayed very comfortably and thanks a lot for the host! We shall certainly recommend your place to friends of mine in our country.

The location is unbeatable, very close to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, ideal for exploring the area. José was very kind, allowed us to check in earlier and always kept in touch during our stay. The apartment is spacious and has all the amenities mentioned in the description, which made our stay very comfortable. There were three of us and we felt very comfortable. Overall, we had a great experience. I recommend it and would definitely come back!

Vicente is a perfect host, he does everything to make us feel good. The house is large, there were 6 of us and it was impeccable! there is everything as at home (towel, shower gel, all cooking utensils and enough to make breakfast). The metro is a 12-minute walk and about 50 minutes from the apartment to reach the center via the metro. you will have peace of mind when you arrive at the apartment. Super nice terrace!

Carlos was wery respossive, fullfiled our requests, you could relay on him, apartmanet is full of little things you need for everyday
