Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Centre Ville, Aix-en-Provence

Where to even start! Cyril is an AMAZING host and such an extremely kind and joyous person to talk to! We had great communication with check in/out, as well as he gave us recommendations as to what to do nearby when our original plans fell through! The kitchen was fully stocked with fresh juice, jams, and butter, as well as breakfast delivered to us each morning! This has been my favorite airbnb stay of all time, and really made for such a local feel to our trip. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in AIX; my fiancé and I had such a great time and can’t recommend Cyril’s place enough!

The beautiful room with outdoor kitchen and outdoor dining room had everything you need for relaxing days. A fragrant, tasteful bedroom with good Bed and beautiful linen, a wonderful covered and well-maintained dining area with outdoor kitchen, functionally furnished. A large pool, to be used at any time and larger than in the pictures, wonderful in hot temperatures after a trip - and even illuminated at night. A central location to explore Provence and the Carmargue, on absolutely private and large grounds with the landlady Marie Agnes and her discreet family. In a quiet, friendly and pleasant way, Marie Agnes anticipated our every wish and gave good tips for the area. Beautiful bird and frog concert in the evening. Thank you, dear Marie Agnes, we will be happy to come back!😊

What a fabulous place to stay! Quiet, but walkable to all of Aix centre. We walked to dinner every night and came back to a peaceful house with a private backyard and pool. Having parking was a huge benefit and management team of Emma and Silvio was so helpful. Emma was very responsive. We fit 8 people comfortably with 3 couples and 2 singles.

We had a fantastic stay here in this beautiful home! The house was very clean and super comfortable. The host was so nice and welcoming, we are definitely coming back.

This house was beautiful. Our family group (4 kids and 4 adults) had a great time in the house. There was plenty of room, lots of places to sit and have privacy but also several choices to all sit as a family for meals or talking. The neighborhood was very quiet and easy to get to. The rooms were very nice and the pool was wonderful. The kitchen was also very nice for preparing meals with everyone we needed. We would 100% stay here again and recommend Elisa and Gerard as hosts.

A charming and strategic place in order to visist the sighseings of Provence

Jean-François and his family are the best hosts myself and my partner ever encountered! Friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. Such a wonderful people! We stayed few days and Jean-François picked us up from and dropped us back to the airport, even though our flight was late at night! Also he let us hang around the property on our last day as our flight was in the late afternoon way after check out time so we didn’t have to wander about the town or airport. We didn’t rent a car and again Jean-François couldn’t be more helpful! He took us to the shop to get our groceries and showed us few places on the way that we could walk too. He recommended a fantastic wine tasting experience nearby and also few nice restaurants in the city. We will be back again and not only once as this is a perfect location for a nice relaxing holiday in a quiet private area with loving people around that can help you out with anything you need! Recommend from the bottom of my heart!

The apartment was beautiful, clean, and so easy to find and check into! We had a great time—the bedroom was so comfortable, the tub was amazing, and the bathroom was clean and easy to use. We were comfortable here and the apartment was very large for France. We also appreciated it being on the ground floor, and the AC being super strong given it was quite warm during our visit to Aix :). There’s nothing I would suggest they change, would highly recommend staying here!!

Celine’s home is a perfect location from which to explore Aix. We enjoyed the outdoor space, very comfortable and firm bed, and the very clean and spacious apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. Close to all the shopping and restaurants.

Edouard’s place was so beautiful and had all the amenities needed. We were a bit leery when we had first arrived since it was located on a very narrow street and building is very old. However, once you enter the place it was such a pleasant surprise. I will warn you that there are 3 flights of winding stairways and no elevator. If you have huge luggages and don’t like to climb stairs, I would make sure you’re able to do so. It’s in the most fantastic location surrounded by restaurants. I highly recommend Edouard’s place and so very responsive. Much appreciated this place and the hospitality.

Our stay at Cathy’s place in Aix-en-Provence was excellent. Great communication prior to our arrival with lots of suggestions. She was engaging but not intrusive. Location was excellent. I mean excellent. We could and did walk everywhere. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores and ice cream shops in the area. We rented a car to go outside the city to explore other towns and villages. Parking was not always easy but we found on street parking in Aix. Over all our experience in Aix was great.

Fabulous airbnb very comfortable great air-conditioning plenty of space, perfect location surrounded by really good restaurants, only 1 flight of stairs, felt very safe in the area loved it all. Gaetan was very helpful and responsive 👍

We had a great time in this typical Aix-en-Provence apartment, ideally located in the heart of the city. The accommodation is clean and well appointed. Camille is a very friendly and welcoming host.

Forty five years ago more or less but who’s counting, I went to school in Aix. I love the big town/small city feel but I don’t quite know how to describe it. Go discover it. I’v been back countless times since then. But enough about Aix whether it’s your first time or 20th time I would definitely consider Jean Francois’s place; it’s a stunner. Simply decorated, very ample in size and lacking in nothing. Kitchen is huge and the space overall is great. Great airco as well. It started getting hot and they immediately took care that it was working. In fact the moment you call they call back. Location, location, location. Can’t do better. If you are ready to eat when you arrive walk downstairs and eat at the lovely square. We will definitely be staying there again. We have close to 70 Airbnb’s behind us: some memorable some not. This one is in the first Column.

Thanks to Laurence for hosting us, her accommodation is very well-equipped (like home), spacious with a private garden and quiet. Beautiful birdsong and no annoying barking. we enjoyed the calm, the Sainte Victoire mountain as well as the hike of the 2 dams (Bimont and Zola). Perfect

We had a wonderful stay at Rebecca’s place—it truly felt like a home rather than just another rental. The apartment was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The kitchen was especially impressive—well-stocked with cooking tools and essentials, making it easy to prepare meals without a hassle. We also really appreciated the helpful notes around the apartment; they made settling in and navigating everything so much easier. The only minor challenge was parking—if we returned late and others had parked carelessly, it could be a bit tricky to find a spot. But that’s more about the shared space dynamics and definitely not something Rebecca can control. All in all, it was a great stay and we’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommended!

We had a very pleasant stay in a clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation, well located 15 min walk from the Rotonde. Buses pass in front of the residence. Claude and Monique's hospitality is remarkable. Thank you so much for the little touches and generosity. We were very spoiled. We recommend this accommodation 100%.

Apartment with a nice surface area, quiet, where it is cool and smells clean. The town is within walking distance and Marie is very responsive. I highly recommend it.

Damien was an AMAZING host! We had a funny emergency with the washing machine that resulted in him buying a new one for us during our stay. He was so fast to act and was just an incredible host. This is a great apartment if you have a car whilst in Aix, the underground private space is perfect. We enjoyed using the pool too! Thank you so much Damien
